  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 プラスチック光ファイバの端面が当接する鏡面仕上げさ
    れた表面を有する加熱部材と、加熱部材を加熱するヒー
    タと、 加熱部材の温度を検出する温度検出素子と、温度検出素
    子からの出力に応答してヒータの電力付勢を制御し、加
    熱部材の前記鏡面の温度をプラスチック光ファイバの端
    面処理に最適な温度にまで一旦上昇したのちに消勢する
    制御装置を備えることを特徴とするプラスチック光ファ
    イバの端面処理装置。
