Claims

[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] A heat insulating window frame characterized by having a heat insulating part made of synthetic resin formed on the inner periphery of a metal frame and meeting the following requirements. (a) The heat insulating part of the metal frame is formed separately and attached to the inside of the metal frame. (b) A step-shaped abutment portion having a metal wall surface is formed at either end of the vertical and horizontal frames, and a metal frame at the other end of the frame is abutted against the corresponding abutment portion to form a framework. (c) The ends of the respective heat insulating parts are brought into contact with each other inside the metal frames that are brought into contact with each other at the joining ends of the vertical and horizontal frames. (b) A covering part made by partially polymerizing the heat insulating part is formed on the mounting piece provided on the indoor side of the metal frame.
