Abstract

PURPOSE:To smoothen a forward movement of a printing element and prevent a zigzagging phenomenon from occurring in printing, by a construction wherein guide pins are inserted in guide holes provided at large diameter parts provided at both ends of each printing element. CONSTITUTION:When the printing element 1 is moved forward by an armature 6, a force acts in a direction for turning the printing element 1 itself with a point A' as a center. In this case, since the guide pin 4 is inserted in the guide hole 3 provided at the tip large-diameter part 2 of the element 1 itself, an inside surface of the guide hole 3 come into contact with a lower part of the guide pin 4. Therefore, a frictional force corresponding to an angle theta2 against the direction in which the element 1 is expected to move straightforwards is exerted on the contact part. The angle theta2 is small, the forward movement of the element 1 is a substantially straight motion, and the frictional force is small, so that there is little friction at the frictional surface, and the forward movement of the element 1 is always accurately guided by the guide pins 4. Accordingly, it is enabled to prevent the zigzagging phenomenon from occurring in printing, to print clearly and to reduce consumption of electric power.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a guide device for a printing element of a head for an impact type dot matrix printer.
The purpose of this is to smooth the reciprocating axis of the printing element, and in particular to enable the printing surface of the printing element to move straight, making it possible to print clearly and accurately.

Conventionally, the guide for the printing element of this type of dot matrix printer head is an outer case 15) as shown in FIG.
The printing element m was guided by the first page of the internal information. In such a case, as shown by the arrow in Fig. 4, when pressed with the tip of the armature (6), the printing element (1)
is a case centered on point A (direction of arrow 51, fill
The upper case (of 51) in FIG.
A pressing force will be applied to b. Therefore, since a frictional force acts at an angle θl with respect to the direction in which the printing element +lj should originally move straight, the frictional force bt becomes large, and the friction surface of the case (5) is rubbed and damaged, and the guide width becomes correspondingly large. This is because it interferes with the physical straight movement of the printing element (1).

Of course, the case (5) at the rear of the printing element also wears out in the same way, but since the mission of the printing element is accurate printing on the paper surface, the wear of the case at the rear is not so serious. That is, as previously mentioned, in the past, there were defects such as wear on the inner surface of the front case (guide section), which hindered the forward movement of the printing element and caused zigzag patterns in printing. Therefore, this invention was proposed in order to solve the above-mentioned conventional defects. Guide holes are formed through the large diameter portions at both ends of each printing element, and guide bottles are inserted into these guide holes. It is an object of the present invention to provide a guide device for a printing element.

An embodiment of this invention will be described below in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. (1) is a printing element, and the vicinity of both ends in the long plane direction is expanded to a large diameter. A guide hole (3) is provided in this large diameter portion (2). This guide hole (3) is formed with a long piece in the longitudinal direction, and a guide pin (4) is formed in the long piece in the longitudinal direction.
) is inserted, and this guide pin (4) has an outer diameter that is large enough to come into contact with the inner diameter of the guide hole (3) in the direction of one side of the armor, but this guide pin (4) is fixed, or,
This cross-sectional shape may be round or square. Using this guide pin +41 as a guide, the printing element (1) can reciprocate in the longitudinal direction of the guide hole (3).

Of course, a predetermined number of printing elements (1) are stacked, and frame plates (73 (7)) are in contact with the top and bottom of the printing elements (1). The caps (7') are inserted into the upper and lower grooves (4a) (4a) K of the guide pin +41, so that the upper and lower ones of the printing elements (1) (1) are Make sure that the frame plate (7171) does not come into direct contact with the frame plate (71), which will be firmly attached to the case. -1
A protrusion (8) for forward movement when pressed by 6), and a protrusion (8') for pressing a backward movement spring (not shown) for causing the printing element (1) to move backward are formed. has been done.

This practical example is related to the alpha configuration described above, so for example, as shown in FIG.
) is moved forward, a force is applied around point 41 shown in the drawing in a direction that forces the printing element (1) itself in the same direction. In such a case, the guide pin (4) is just inserted into the guide hole (3) provided in the large diameter portion (2) at the tip of the printing element (1) itself, as shown in Fig. 4. , guide pin f4
Guide hole (3) of the seal notification 1j element (1) in the lower part of 1
The inner surfaces of the two are in contact with each other. Therefore, a frictional force of an angle θ2 with respect to the direction in which the printing element (1) should originally move straight acts on the abutting portion. This θ2 is a much smaller frictional force than the conventional frictional force described above, which corresponds to the angle of fall θ1. (θ1)θ2) In that case,
The forward movement of the printing element (1) is also almost straight forward, and the frictional force is small, so there is almost no wear on the friction surface, and therefore the printing element (1) is always accurately controlled by the guide pin (4). The forward motion is guided and the printing surface of the printing element (1) is also accurately pressed onto the paper surface, so there is no zigzag phenomenon in printing as in the past, and clear printing is possible, reducing consumption. This is a truly valuable idea with various practical uses, such as being able to reduce power consumption.
