(1)発明の技術分野
本発明は記録ドラム上に静電潜像を形成し、これを現像
して記録紙上に転写する電子写真式記録装置に関するも

が、印字の高速化に伴い騒音の問題が生ずる。これに代

インクジェットプリンタが開発されている。しかしなが
ら、サーマルプリンタは特殊な感熱紙を使用しなければ
ならず、またインクジェットプリンタはインク目詰しに
よる信頼性の低下等の問題がある。一方、記録1’ラム
上に靜%frt像を形成し、これを現像して記録紙上に
転写する電子写真式記録装置は普通紙が使用可能である
。このような電子写真式記録装置は、光導電体層表面を
有する感光ドラム周囲にコロトロン等の帯電手段と、レ
ーザ、L E D %’ k用いた潜像形成手段と、ト
ナーによる現像手段と、゛トナー像を記録紙上に転写す
る転写手段と感光ドラム上の残留トナーを除去するクリ

磁気ブラシ9aに印加された現像バイアス電圧により感
光ドラム7上の潜像に対し電界が生じ、低抵抗磁性トナ
ーを介して、低抵抗磁性トナーおよび高抵抗磁性トナー
に正の電荷の注入が容易に行われ、演い印字が得られる

子写真技術をシリアルプリンタに応用でき装置の小型化
