本発明は、プリンタ特にドツトインパクト形マトリック
スプリンタに使用され高速度で運動する印字ハンマ駆動

ける印字ハンマ駆動装置は、側磁路を形成して吸引力を

成されていた。すなわち、永久磁石lと、この永久磁石
lの両側に永久磁石1を挾むように配設されたヨーク2
.3と、一方のヨーク3に固定端が固定された印字エネ
ルギを貯える板バネ状の印字ハンマ4と、他方の柱状ヨ
ーク2の先端部に印字ハンマ4の中間部に向って突設さ
れたヨーク5と、このヨーク5の内部磁束を打ち消すた
め該ヨーク5に巻設されたコイル6と、印字ハンマ4の
自由端側に7ランジを介して直角方向に設けられたドツ
トを印字する印字ピン7と、ヨーク5の先端に吸引され
る印字ハンマ中間部の反ヨーク側に固着された円形状の
磁極片8と、印字ハンマ4と対峙してほぼ平行に配置さ
れ基端部が印字ハンマ4の固定端とともにヨーク3に固
定された側方ヨーク9と、この側方ヨーク9の磁極片8
と対応する位置に該磁極片8よシ僅かに大きい径で穿設
された穴lOとから構成される装置
印字ハンマ4は、第1a図及び第1b図において実線矢
印で示すヨーク5の先端から印字ハンマ4を経てヨーク
3に流れる主磁束と、鎖線矢印で示すヨーク5の先端か
ら印字ハンマ4に固着された磁極片8及びこの磁極片8
の係入する穴ioを有する側方ヨーク9.すなわち側磁
路を経て流れる側磁更によってヨーク5に吸引されてい
た。そのため、磁極片8を可動部分である印字ハンマ4
に別個に設けかつ印字ハンマ4を長尺状にするだけ印字
ハンマ4の質量が大きくなって固有振動数が低下し、印
字速度を大きくすることができないという欠点がおった

放されたときに印字ピン17を介して放出され印字エネ
