Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、フッ素系油及びシリコーン油の分子量をそれ
ぞれ特定することによυ、相溶性が改善された難燃性油
に関する。
電カケープル、コンデンサー、トランス等の電気機器用
絶縁油には、鉱物油、リン酸エステル油、塩素化合成油
、スルフォン合成油、シリコーン油あるいはフッ素油等
が知られている。
これらの絶縁油に要求される主な特性としては、絶縁破
壊電圧、体積抵抗率、誘電率、あるいは誘電正接等の電
気特性が良好であること以外にも、使用中に物理的、化
学的にも変質せず又は無毒性、不燃性で低温流動性を保
持する等が挙げられるが必ずしもすべて満足するものは
得られていない。
例えば鉱物油や低粘度シリコーン油は可燃性であシ、塩
素化合成油は毒性上問題があシ、フッ素油は高価で高比
重のため電気機器の重量化を招くなど、それぞれに欠点
を有している。
特公昭５１−２０７２０号公報には、シリコーン油とフ
ッ素油を混合し、それぞれの欠点を補った絶縁油が記載
されている。シリコーン油はフッ素油を混合することに
よシネ燻化され、一方シリコーン油によう比重の低減が
可能となる。さらに、シリコーン油とフッ素油とは相溶
性が悪いため、メラミン誘導体やイソシアヌレートを添
加して、相溶性を改善するという記載も認められる。し
かしながら、本発明者の検討によれば、両者の相溶性を
高めるためのかがる添加剤は必要でなく、混合する両者
の分子量を特定することによシ、充分な均一混合が可能
であることを見い出すことができた。
すなわち本発明は、数平均分子量が約３００〜約９００
のフッ素油及び数平均分子量が約１６０〜約５７．００
０のシリコーン油からなることを特徴とする難燃性油に
関するものである。
フッ素系油としては、クロロトリフルオロエチレンを重
合した、クロロトリフルオロエチレン低重合体が代表的
なものである。その他テトラフルオロエチレンとプロピ
レンとを重合させた含フツ素低重合体、又は、パーフル
オロエーテルオリゴマー、フッ素化オキセタン類、フッ
素化ポリフェニルエーテル類あるいはパーフルオロアミ
ン類等である。
シリコーン油としては、一般式（ｓｕｕｔ’ｏ）ｎ〔但
しＲ，Ｒ’は一０Ｈ３−ＯＨ又は−０ａＨｓ〕で表わさ
れる鎖状オルガノポリシロキサンが代表的なものであり
具体的には、ジメチルポリシロキサン、フェニルメチル
ポリシロキサン等を挙げることができる。
これらのフッ素系油とシリコーン油は、フッ素系油の数
平均分子量（以下単に分子量という場合がある。）が約
３００〜約７００で、シリコーン油の数平均分子量が約
１６０〜約１，９００の場合には、両者の混合比に無関
係で均一混合が可能である。シリコーン油の分子量がか
＼る範囲よルも大きくなるに従って、相溶性を満足する
フッ素系油の混合比が小さくなる。しかしながらシリコ
ーン油は分子量が大きくなるにつれ、すなわち高粘度に
なるにつれて、難燃性が増大ｊるため、フッ素系油の混
合比は小さくとも良く、温度範囲が一３０℃〜１５０℃
の通常の使用に際し不都合とはならない。−３０℃以下
の低温での使用に際してはシリコーン油の混合比を大き
くとル相溶化しやすくしておくことが望ましい。
相溶性を満足する、数平均分子量の幅は、フッ素系油よ
シもシリコーン泊め方が大きい。又フッ素系油の分子量
が／トさい程、相溶化できるシリコーン油の幅が大きい
。例えば２５℃でシリコーン油＝フッ素油の体積割合が
９：１の混合比の場合には、分子量約７００のフッ素油
は、分子量約５７．０００のシリコーン油まで均一に混
合することができる。一方、分子量約８００のフッ素油
では、前記同一条件で、相溶化できるシリコーン油は、
分子量約３，７ｏＯまでのものである。絶縁油の通常の
使用温度範囲一π号℃〜１５０℃において、両者の混合
比を自由に選択できる場合には、相溶化可能な分子量と
して、フッ素油が約３００〜約９００、シリコーン油が
約１６０〜約５７．０００の範囲から選定することがで
きる。不燃化が望ましい場合には、フッ素油の混合割合
を大きくし、絶縁油の重量を軽減する目的に対しては、
シリコーン油の混合割合を大きくすればよいことは言う
までもない。
絶縁油として使用嘔れる場合には、電気的絶縁性ととも
に、コイル等を冷却する役目もあ）、発生熱を容易に放
散できるように低粘度であることも必要とされる。又屋
外のトランス用絶縁油では、マイナス１５℃以下の条件
下に機能しなければならない場合もあシ、低温において
も十分な流動性や相溶性を保持する必要がある。
本発明の難燃性油を絶縁油として使用する場合には、電
気特性とともに、か＼る低温での流動性や相溶性が良好
である。又、絶縁油中に不飽和化合物の不純物が存在す
る場合には、絶縁油の劣化が進行しゃすい。従って、例
えばフッ素油中に微量不純物が存在する場合には、０６
Ｆ３　、　　ＭｎＦ３　、　　ＡｇＦｌ　、　　０ｏＦ
３　等のフッ素化剤でフッ素化処理したシ、発生時の塩
素で処理する等の通常の方法にょ多安定化することが好
ましい。その他、酸化安定性や熱安定性を高めるために
は、ベンゾフラン、１．２−ベンゾビラン、エポキシ化
合物、有機錫化合物、エピスルフィド誘導体、環状シラ
ン化合物あるいはホスファイト系化合物、ホスフィンサ
ルファイド系化合物、その他の公知ないし周知の安定剤
を本発明の難燃性油に添加してもよい。
本発明の難燃性油は、耐熱媒体などの特性も有しており
、用途は単に電気絶縁油に限定するものではなく、たと
えば潤滑剤、加熱冷却媒体あるいは作動油としても使用
することができる。
次に、本発明の実施例について、場らに具体的に説明す
るがか＼る説明によシ本発明が何ら限定されないことは
勿論である。
実施例 第２〜７表には、クロロトリフルオロエチレン低重合体
とジメチルポリシロキサンの２５℃における相溶性を示
した。表中のｒＯＪ印は均一に混合したものを、「×」
印は相溶化せず、上下２相に分離したものを表わす。又
第１表は本発明のクロロノリフルオロエチレン低重合体
／ジメチルポリシロキサン系絶縁油に関する各種特性を
測定した結果である。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 り　数平均分子量が約３００〜約９００のフッ素系油及
    び数平均分子量が約１６０〜約５７０００のシリコーン
    油からなることを特徴とする難燃性油。 ２）フッ素系油が、クロロトリフルオロエチレン低重合
    体である特許請求の範囲第一項記載の難燃性油。 ６）シリコーン油が、ジメチルポリシロキサンである特
    許請求の範囲第一項記載の難燃性油。
