Claims (1)
- 吸気通路にエンジンの運転状態に応じて作動する吸気遮
断弁を有した第１の気筒と、常時稼動している第２の気
筒とを備え、エンジンの低負荷時に上記吸気遮断弁を作
動して第１の気筒への吸気を停止し減筒運転を行うとと
もに、減筒運転時に該第１の気筒へ排気ガスを供給する
ようにしたエンジンにおいて、第１の気筒の排気通路と
第２の気筒の排気通路とを独立して設け、上記第２の気
筒の排気通路にｉ媒を介設し、該触媒下流の排気ガスを
上記第１の気筒に供給する排気ガスとするとともに、上
記触媒上流において上記両排気通路を連通ずる連通路を
設け、該連通路に減筒運転時閉じる弁を設けたことを特
徴とする気筒数制御エンジン。
