  1. 基端側か枢支されて先端側が開閉自在となっている第１
    、第２のアームと、前記第１、第２のアームの先端に相
    対向するように設けられている第１、第２の作業台と、
    前記第１、第２の作業台の゛表面にこれらを横切って相
    対応して設けられている第１、第２の心線ガイド溝と、
    前記第一１の心線ガイド溝内にその幅方向に横切る向き
    で刃先を臨ませて前記第１の作業台に支持された第１の
    しくイトと、前記第２の心線ガイド溝内にその幅方向に
    横切る向きで刃先を臨ませて前記第２の作業台に支持さ
    れた第２のバイトを備え、前記第１、第２のバイトの刃
    先は前記両溝内に配置されるテープ状多心光フアイバ心
    線内の光フアイバ素線に接触しないで接近するように位
    置決めされていることを特徴とするテープ状多心光フア
    イバ心線被覆除去器。
