面図、第２図は本考案摺転密封面を構成する固定側密封
環および回転側密封環の対向面を示した斜視図であって
、Ａは固定側密封環の環端面を梨地仕上げの摺滑面とな
し回転側密封環の環端薗を鏡面仕上げの摺滑面とした事
例を示し、Ｂは固定側密封環の環端面を鏡面仕上げの摺
滑面となし回転側密封環の環端面を梨地仕上げの摺滑面
とした事例を示す。 １はシャフト、２は固定側密封環、３は回転側密封環、
４は梨地仕上げの摺滑面、４′は鏡面仕上げの摺滑面、
５は摺転密封面である。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. シャフト１と遊合して固定体に装着される固定側密封環
    ２の表出環端面、または該面と対向してシャフト１に装
    着される回転側密封環３の表出環端面の、いずれか一方
    の梨地仕上げの摺滑面４となし、他方を鏡面仕上げの摺
    滑面４′となし、これら互に仕上げ態様を異にした両摺
    滑面、４．４′の押圧接触により、潤滑液の浸透性を保
    有した摺転密封面５を構成せしめたことを特徴とする、
    水中ポンプにおけるメカニカルシールの摺転密封面。
