At that time, it is common to cut and remove the damaged cable and connect a new cable to repair it. It will be done. Conventionally, various methods have been adopted as methods for connecting communication cable cores in such cases. For example, ■ Strip the insulating coating, twist the core wires together, solder the top, cover it with an insulating sleeve, and make a compression connection.

However, ``borrowing measures are extremely difficult and construction takes a long time, and even if you choose a time when the line is infrequently used, it differs depending on the subscriber, making it difficult to borrow lines at the same time.'' It requires a lot of effort.

Because these lines transmit and receive information signals as a whole, disconnecting one terminal or a section of the line will stop the system as a whole, which could have a fatal impact on the system as a whole. This is a serious drawback.

Similarly, the switching cable B for renewal is also inserted into the terminal main body 2, and the coatings a of both cables A and H are peeled off to the connector 1, and at the same time, the core wires are brought into contact with each other. 9 - After the terminal cover 6 is closed and installed under the condition of Alternatively, by removing the connector 1, it is possible to replace and connect the existing cable to the switching cable B without even momentarily cutting off the existing cable, eliminating the soldering work and eliminating the work of stripping the insulation and covering the insulation. It can be done in a number of ways. In this case, if the length of the cut cable part is long, two terminal bodies 2 may be used at isolated positions; if the length is short, for example, if the terminal body 2 is between the connectors 1 and 1 which are in a conductive state, the terminal body 2 may be used as a terminal. If this is done between a plurality of connectors provided on the main body 2, only one terminal main body 2 can be used. Further, the terminal body 2 may have a single connector 1 or a plurality of connectors 1, but in the case of multiple connectors, attaching them across the cable increases the safety of cable fitting and the maintenance of a good conductive connection state. .

A part of the conductor is bent and stands up so as to serve as a fitting and receiving part for the coated conductor, and the conductor is held between the conductive pins. The terminal body 2 is fitted into a terminal body 2 formed in a letter-shaped case body. The terminal main body 2 is a rectangular or semi-cylindrical case body along the cable, and has openings 2I for leading out the cable on both end walls and the conductive plate 1. A recess into which the 2. and a recess 2 into which the terminal cover 3 is fitted. is formed on the inner surface to properly and firmly cover the connecting part of the core wire, and there is a space 2. in which the existing cable can be cut inside the terminal body 2. are located adjacent to both end walls.

A part of the conductive plate 1° is bent and erected in a state where the coated core wire is engaged so that the contact state is maintained. In this case, as shown in the example in Fig. 1, it may be formed by making cuts and standing upright on both sides in a continuous state, or by bending a punched conductive plate as shown in Fig. 10, as shown in Fig. 9. It may be configured as follows, in which a tapered fitting groove is used as the cutter portion 11 for separating the cable to be connected a.

The contact attachment of the covered core wire to the connector includes inserting the coated core wire in parallel into the terminal body where the contact is located, and attaching the coated core wire to the contact at the same time using a terminal cover.
The connection method described in any one of Items 4 to 4. & When attaching the coated core wire to the terminal body, remove the terminal cover temporarily fixed to the terminal body, open it, insert the coated core wire through the opening, and insert the terminal cover into the terminal body. The connection method according to any one of claims 2 to 5, wherein the connection method is fixed. Z A connector made of a conductive material is provided in a terminal body made of an insulating material, and the connector is composed of a conductive piece with a peeled-off part and a conductive plate connected to the conductive piece, and the conductive plate is connected to the conductive piece. A receiving portion into which the coated core wire can be inserted is configured to sandwich the core wire between the conductive pieces, and a connection terminal cover that can be fitted onto the terminal body is fitted to hold the core wire. A connection terminal characterized by being freely provided. (a) The connecting terminal according to claim 1, wherein the terminal body is a case body made of a polycarbonate synthetic resin material and having a U-shaped cross section, and has openings on both side walls for leading out the coated core wire. 9. The connection terminal according to claim 7 or 8, wherein the conductive piece is a conductive pin that is fitted and protruded from the conductive plate, and a plurality of conductive pins are provided in the axial direction of the core wire. 1[l The conductive piece is made of a conical body and has an annular or spiral engaging groove or protrusion formed on its circumferential surface to serve as a coating peeling part. 9
A connection terminal described in any one of the following paragraphs. 11 The conductive plate has a fitting hole into which the conductive piece is fitted, and has side pieces that stand up on both sides of the conductive piece, and is fitted into a groove in the terminal body. A connection terminal according to any one of claims 7 to 9. 12. The connection terminal cover is fitted onto the terminal body, and has a protrusion that includes a coated core wire and fits between the conductive piece and the conductive plate. A connection terminal according to any one of the ranges 7 to 11. 13. The conductive piece according to claim 7 or 8, wherein the conductive piece is an upright plate having wedge-shaped grooves that bite into the coated core wire, and the grooves are arranged in parallel. Connecting terminal. 14. The connection terminal according to any one of claims 1 to 13, wherein the terminal main body has a terminal cover that is temporarily fixed in a detachable manner at a fitting portion.
