Claims (1)
下一対の電極基板間に液晶を充填した下部セルとを積層
し、かつ前記下部セルを上部セルより小さくするかある
いは上部セルと一部分において重なるようにずらして配
置して、上部セル下の下部セルのない部分の空所を他部
品の配置スペースとした二層型液晶表示装置において、
前記下部セルの上部電極基板を上部セルの下面略全面に
重なる大きさとし、この電極基板の下面に下部セルの表
示領域を除いて上部セル用反射膜を形成すると共に、前
記下部セルの上部電極基板を、その側面に対向させて配
置される照明用ランプからの照明光を導びく光導板とし
