Abstract

PURPOSE:To switch an optical copying system and an optical picture input system and to form respective pictures selectively by providing a lens for picture input and a photodetecting element on a movable plate in parallel to a lens for copying. CONSTITUTION:The copying lens 27 is placed on a base plate 32 provided in a dark box 31 having an exposure hole 30 in the fornt surface. Further, the picture input lens 33 is provided on the base plate 32 and a wall plate 34 is stood on thereupon right behind the lens 33. Then, an image reading element 35 is provided to the wall plate 34. The base plate 32 is mounted freely slidably on a rail 36 laid on the bottom part of the dark box 31, and supported by an endless member 38 extended between two shafts 37 and 37' to move at right angles to an optical axis by the forward/backward rotation of a driving motor 39 through a warm 40 and a gear 41. Therefore, the lens 27 or 33 is moved selectively onto the exposure hole 30.

Conventionally, this loincloth image recording/copying device 6 is as shown in the first diagram.
A light beam from a light source 3 is applied to the document surface 2 on the document table 1, and the reflected light from the document surface is split by a splitter 6 through a reflection mirror 4 and a lens 5, and one of the light beams is imaged on a photoreceptor drum 7. , the other is read by the image reading element 8, and the signal is stored in a memory (not shown) or the like or output to the semiconductor laser 9, and the laser light from the semiconductor laser 9 is transmitted to the polygon 10 and the fθ lens. 11 to scan the photosensitive drum 7. The latent image recording using the image input optical system and the latent image recording using the copying optical system are separated by a splitter 6.
It was structured so that paper and other materials were shared and could be switched and used as needed.

However, Hiko found that in the above conventional image input optical system, it is difficult to adjust the position of the lens 5 and the image reading element 8, which are installed before and after the tin ritter 60, and that it is especially difficult to switch between the image input optical system and the copying optical system. When the image reading element and the lens are moved separately, there is a problem in that the positional relationship between them is likely to be distorted, making it even more difficult to adjust the position.

As described above, the present invention provides an image input lens and an image reading element in parallel on a copying lens installation substrate provided between the document surface and the photoreceptor drum, and by moving the substrate. Since the optical system for copying and the optical system for image input can be switched, when recording an image, the reflected light from the document surface is passed through the copying lens to form an image on the photoreceptor drum. It is possible to selectively and easily process the multi-signal processing by an image reading element through an input lens and store it in a memory, or output it to a semiconductor laser and scan it onto a photoreceptor drum through a polygon or fθ lens. Further, the image input lens is provided separately from the copying lens, and the image reading element is positioned in advance with respect to the image input lens, and this positional relationship is determined between the copying optical system and the image input optical system. Each f81i has an excellent effect of not going out of order even when switching.
