Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １　火炎によって合成したガラス微粒子を出発材の軸方
    向に堆積して多孔質母材を形成した後、焼結して透明母
    材とする光ファイバの製造方法に使用する製造装置にお
    いて、該多孔質母材を形成するための反応部を保護する
    容器の上部に、出発材支持部の上下移動に応じて、伸縮
    する蛇腹状の覆いを設けることを特徴とする光フアイバ
    母材の製造装置。 ２　該蛇腹状覆いの素材が、ガラス繊維、テフロン等に
    よって構成され、耐酸性を有することを特徴とする特許
    請求の範囲第１項記載の光フアイバ母材の製造装置。
