  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 ドラム乾燥機は布の加工工程や紙の製造工程で、湿った
    長い布や紙（以下被乾燥物と言う）を、中に蒸気の入っ
    た回転ドラムの高温の表面（以下回転ドラム表面と言う
    ）に接触させて乾燥させる。 被乾燥物の乾燥効率を上げるためには、回転ドラム表面
    と被乾燥物の接触面を多くするため、被乾燥物が回転ド
    ラム表面に接触を始める所と、被乾燥物が回転ドラム表
    面から接触を終る所を接近させるために小径の回転物を
    設けたことを特徴とする。
