Claims

Automatic loading type in which the leading edge of the magnetic tape inside the magnetic tape cartridge is guided to the take-up reel side via the magnetic tape running path by opening the cartridge and sending it out from the mouth by air jet inside the cartridge. 2. A magnetic tape in an automatic loading magnetic tape device, wherein the leading end of the magnetic tape is formed in a chevron shape with the apex being approximately at the center in the width direction of the tape.
