Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply and effectively exhaust condensed water causing the deterioration in the insulation of a stator coil and the corrosion in a rotary electric machine out of the machine by collecting the water condensed in the machine via a capillary tube phenomenon to the lowermost part of the machine and further exhausting the water from an outlet portout of the machine. CONSTITUTION:Condensed water in a rotary electric machine is accumulated in a projecting strip 2a on the lower side half periphery of a stator frame 2. This condensed water is contacted with a strip 16 of woven mesh secured to the inner surface of the frame 2. The strip 16 absorbs condensed water via a capillary tube phenomenon, and moves the condensed water to the ends 16a, 16b disposed at the lowermost part of the machine. In this manner, the condensed water collected to the lowermost part of the machine can be simply and effectively exhausted out of the machine by removing a screw 19 for sealing a threaded hole 18.

The stator frame 2 in the rotating electric machine configured in this way
This is a member formed into a cylindrical shape by bending a thermally conductive plate into a wave shape to provide a plurality of protrusions 2a that are parallel to the axis. The four parts between the protrusions 2a are connected to the external fan 12.
The inside of the protrusion 2a still functions as a ventilation path for the outside air sent from the internal fan 13. Note that both axial ends of the protrusion 2a are crushed in the circumferential direction.

したがって回転電機の内部は外気としゃ断されている。Therefore, the inside of the rotating electric machine is cut off from the outside air.

The interior of the rotating electric machine having the above-mentioned structure is maintained in a completely closed state. Strictly speaking, however, there is a small amount of communication with the outside air at the contact parts between the bearings 7 and 8 and the rotating shaft 1, as well as at the gap measurement port (not shown), and due to the breathing effect caused by temperature changes, moisture can enter the inside of the rotating electrical machine. There is an intrusion. Therefore, when there is a sudden temperature change due to the operation or stopping of the rotating electric machine, condensed water 15 is generated inside the rotating electric machine, and this condensed water 15 is inside the protrusion 2a located on the lower half of the stator frame 2. There was a risk of accumulation, deterioration of the insulation of the stator winding 3, and corrosion inside the machine.

In addition, in order to remove the above-mentioned dew condensation water 15, each
There is a conventional device in which a drain hole is provided in a, and the drain hole is usually covered with a plug, but with such a structure, all the plugs have to be removed one by one when removing the condensed water 15. This caused a big problem in terms of work efficiency.

This embodiment configured as described above has the following effects. That is, when moisture that has entered the rotating electric machine condenses into water due to a sudden temperature change, this condensed water collects on the protrusions 2a on the lower half of the stator frame 2. This condensed water 15 then comes into contact with a mesh-like band 16 fixed on the inner surface of the stator frame 2. Then, this mesh-like band 16 exhibits a so-called capillary phenomenon and sucks the condensed water 15, and furthermore, the end portion 16h located at the bottom of the rotating electric machine,
The condensed water 15 is moved to 16b. The condensed water 15 that has collected at the bottom of the rotating electric machine in this manner can be easily and reliably discharged to the outside of the machine by removing the screw 19 sealing the screw hole 18. Further, after draining the condensed water 15, the screw hole 18 is sealed with the screw 19, thereby maintaining the completely closed structure of the rotating electric machine.

Note that the present invention is not limited to the one embodiment described above. For example, the outlet 17 has a screw hole 18 and a screw 19.
In short, any structure in which the stator frame 2 is provided with an opening that can be freely opened and closed may be used.
