Structure and problems of conventional examples Conventionally, this type of reaction has been mainly carried out industrially.
The equipment also incorporates a reformer as part of a large plant. In general, in either the steam reforming reaction using hydrocarbon gas and steam or the partial oxidation method using air, the reforming process is carried out after sufficiently preheating the hydrocarbon gas, water (i.e. steam, or air). There is peace of mind in supplying the foaming catalyst. For this reason, large-scale plants use a method in which high-temperature, high-pressure steam and air are created using a separate heat source such as a heater, and then mixed with hydrocarbon gas and preheated. The above method cannot be used in a reformer for home use or small-scale industrial use, such as the present invention, because the device itself needs to be as compact as possible. Can not. For this reason, it is necessary to effectively utilize the heat within the reforming device, but conventional devices have had problems in this regard.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION The present invention solves these conventional problems, and its purpose is to effectively utilize the heat within the reformer to preheat the feed gas. Moreover, it is an object of the present invention to provide a small-sized reformer.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION To achieve this objective, the present invention has a configuration in which a number of cylindrical tubes are provided behind the reforming catalyst for passing the product gas, and the feed gas flows outside the cylindrical tubes. With this configuration, waste heat in the generated gas can be fully utilized for preheating the supply gas.

Next, the operation of this device will be described. In particular, partial combustion of natural gas will be described as an example. Natural gas and air, which have been mixed in advance at a stoichiometric ratio (m = 1.4 to 1.2) using a mixer (not shown), are supplied from the mixed gas supply pipe 2 to the reaction tube 1 and the inner tube 4. The gas that passes through the formed passage, further passes through the outside of the numerous cylindrical tubes 6 of the present invention, passes through the passage formed by the circular tube 4 and the inner tube B, and then passes through the burner port plate 8. It is ignited by the spark plug 9, and a flame is formed on the flame port plate 8.

When the reforming catalyst 7 heated by the flame formed on the flame port plate 8 reaches a predetermined temperature (800 to 600°C), only the amount of methane in the mixed gas is increased. (
m = 0.4 to Q.25) As a result, the reforming catalyst 7 starts partial combustion and is reformed into a gas containing hydrogen and carbon dioxide as main components.

After passing through the cylindrical pipe 6, the reformed gas passes through the generated gas outlet 11, is stored in a gas reservoir (not shown), and is used when necessary. The gas is reformed by the above action, and while the gas reformed by the reforming catalyst 7 passes through the inside of a large number of cylindrical pipes 6, it is mixed with natural gas passing outside the cylindrical pipes 6. Enough heat exchange with the gas mixture with air. As a result, the mixed gas is preheated to around 3o O'C and then supplied to the reforming catalyst 7, allowing the reaction to continue smoothly. - As an example, a reforming catalyst 7 supporting 10q6 nickel was used.
, V, 12000'/h, mlr/c LJ, 28. Natural gas was reformed at 750°C and the gasification rate was 99°C. About 30% hydrogen was obtained in terms of composition ratio. ,.
