Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a titled press needle which is capable of providing a through-hole having a smooth inside wall and also a uniform hole diameter, by providing an sugged part on the lower part. CONSTITUTION:In a press needle for a printed substrate, a lateral stripe like sugged part 1 is provided on its lower part. When a hole for a through-hole is provided by use of this needle, the inside wall of the through-hole becomes smooth, no burr is generated, and also a hole diameter of the through-hole becomes uniform. In this regard, the sugged part 1 can be formed in the shape of a drill or a file.

Conventionally, a drill is used to make through-holes on printed circuit boards. However, when using a drill, each through-hole hole must be made one by one, which is very cumbersome and increases the cost of printed circuit boards, making it difficult to manufacture printed circuit boards for mass production. Not suitable. Therefore, through holes are formed in printed circuit boards using press needles.

FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a conventional press needle for printed circuit boards. To make a hole for a through hole using this press needle,
A press needle is attached to the mold at the position where the through-hole hole is to be formed on the press device, and the through-hole hole is formed in the printed circuit board using the mold device. If you do this,
Since a large number of through-hole holes can be formed by using the llx press, the work is easy and the cost of the printed circuit board is low, making it suitable for manufacturing printed circuit boards for mass production. However, when making a hole for a through hole using this press needle, the inner wall of the through hole is not smooth and there are scratches such as crow cloth, which makes plating difficult to adhere to, and when inserting the lead wire of an electronic device into the through hole. Solder flow is poor when soldering. Furthermore, since the diameter of the through holes is not uniform, it is not possible to automate the process of inserting lead wires of electronic devices into the through holes.

FIG. 2 is a diagram showing a press sword for printed circuit boards according to the present invention. This press needle has a cross-grained concavo-convex portion (2) at the bottom, so when a through-hole hole is made using this press sword, the inner wall of the through-hole becomes smooth and no cracks occur. Also, the diameter of the through holes becomes uniform.

In addition, in the case of Fig. 2, the cross-grained concavo-convex portion l was provided, but
Depending on the material of the printed circuit board, a drill-like uneven portion 2 or a file-like uneven portion 3 as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 may be provided. Further, it is desirable to use a hard and sticky material for the press needle, and the surface of the press needle may be hard plated.

- As explained above, when a through-hole is formed using the press needle for printed circuit boards according to the present invention, the inner wall of the through-hole is smooth and no cracks occur, so it is easy to
It has a good grip, and the solder rises well when inserting the lead wire of an electronic device into the Surpole and attaching it with half-UJ. Furthermore, since the diameters of the through-holes are uniform, the work of inserting lead wires of electronic devices into the through-holes can be automated. Moreover, the work of providing through-holes is very easy, making it suitable for manufacturing printed circuit boards for mass production, and making it possible to manufacture printed circuit boards at low cost.

このように、この発明の効果は顕著である。As described above, the effects of this invention are remarkable.
