    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. マ）　ＩＪクス駆動方式のねじれ電界効果型液晶表示セ
    ルと、この液晶表示セルを駆動する駆動回路とを備えた
    画像表示装置において、前記液晶表示セルの両面に配置
    させる一対の偏光板のうち一方の偏光板をその周方向に
    回動可能に設けると共に、前記駆動回路に、画像のデジ
    タル信号を必要に応じて反転させるポジ／ネガ変換回路
    を設けたことを特徴とする画像表示装置。
