    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 被読取媒体を光源で照明してその反射像を受光部で受光
    走査し、その受光出力を自動利得制御回路でレベル制御
    したのち量子化して読取情報を得る情報読取装置におい
    て、前記受光部により得られた受光出力のピーク値を検
    出するピーク値検出回路と、このピーク値検出回路の検
    出出力に応じて前記受光出力レベルを一定化させる方向
    に前記・、　　光源の発光量を可変制御する発光量制御
    回路とを一具備したことを特徴とする情報読取装置。
