    しておき、このテストパターンに後続してデータを記録
    する磁気テープ記録装置において、 前記磁気テープのテストパターンと同じデー−夕を記憶
    する記憶手段と、４′ 前記磁気テープからテスト六ターンが読取られるごとに
    、それぞれのテストパターンと前記記憶手段に記憶して
    いるデータとが一致しているかあるいは不一致であるか
    を判別する判別手段、および 前記判別手段の一致判別に応じて、その旨を表示する表
    示手段を備えたことを特徴とする記録レベル表示装置。 （２）前記表示手段は、 キャラクタセグメントとドツトセグメントとを含む複数
    桁のセグメント８表示器と、前記判？Ｕ手段が一致を判
    別するごとに前記セグメント表示器に一致を表わすキャ
