Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase and drcrease locally the outer and inner diameters of a blank material into prescribed dimensions by changing the relative speeds of clamps located at both sides of a locally heating device and a drawing die, through which the blank material such as a rod material or a pipe material passes. CONSTITUTION:A rod material or a pipe material 2, which passes through a locally heating device 1 and a drawing die 9, is clamped at its both sides by clamping devices 5, 8. The diameter of a locally heated material 2 is increased into a large prescribed diameter by drawing the material 2 with the aid of the die 9, by making the stretch-advancing speed v1 of the clamp 8 driven by a cylinder 7 higher than the pushing-in speed v2 of the clamp 5 driven by a cylinder 4. The pipe material 2 can also be formed into a pipe having prescribed outer diameter and prescribed small inner diameter by setting properly the speed difference between v1 and v2 and the diameter of die 9.

うになっている。また局部加熱装置1と冷却装置3は共
に同一速度で管2の軸方向に移動できるように支持され
ている。更に、局部加熱装置1と冷却装置3とを挾んで
油圧式あるいはねじ送シ式の駆動源を有する加圧装置4
に連結されたクランプ装置5及び固定装置jt6が設け
てあシ、局部加熱装置1と冷却装置jt、3の中央空所
に挿通される管2の一方側を固定装置6で固定し、他方
側をクランプ装置5で把持し、加圧装置4によシフラン
プ装置5を介して管2を固定装置6に向って軸方向に押
