Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 不発明は集音部と発音部を二分し、その間を光線を用い
て結合することにより、重皮姓聰者にも使用可能な、小
型で高性能な人目に付き難い補聴器を実現可能としたも
のである。以下図に従りて説明プる。
第1図は本発明による一実施例を示すブロックダイアグ
ラムであるが、集音マイク(M)より集音された音声信
号は第1の増幅器(A1)で適当なレベルまで増幅され
た後、次段のFM変調器(FM)に接続さ札FM化され
た信号は赤外発光タイオーI’(LED)に印加される
。 従ってこのように構成された光送信装*(TM)か
らは音声信号が組信号化された光線となって発射される
ことになる。
光受信装置(RV)は77Fダイλ−F (PD)によ
り、前記FM信号化された音声信号をと・2り了・シフ
し、それを第2の増幅a(A2)にイ、7ノツトして過
当なレベルまで増幅した後、次段のPLL FM 僧号
復調器(PLL)に接続し、この復調された音声信号を
第3の増幅器(A3)に印加し、その出力で電気音響変
換器(sp)を駆動するよう構成しである。
よって光受信装置N(FIV)を外耳道に装着し、光送
信装置jl(’IM)をハウリシジの恐れのない位置、
例えばネックレス等の中に組込めば、殆んど第三者には
気付かれない高性能補聴器を実現することができる。
又、光送信装置(1’M)の赤外発光タイオーF(LE
D)及び光受信装置(RV)のフォトダイオ−F(PD
)を各々身体に密着可能な構造とすれば、赤外光線は比
較的よく身体内を伝等するので、発音部即ち光受信装置
(RV)を口の中に装着しなければならない、歯牙補聴
器等には身体を伝導媒体として、光送信装置(’IM)
と光受信装置(RV)を結合することかできるので好都
合である。 この場合、光送信装置(’l’M)を腕時
計等の中に組込むようにすれば、外部からは補聴器の使
用を全く気付かれずに済むものが構成可能である。 又
、光送信装置(TM)と光受信装置(FtV)を光ファ
イバを用いて結合してもよく、この場合は、光フアイバ
内のロスが少いので、前例のように高出力の赤外発光ダ
イオ−rを必ずしも用いる必贅がなく・ミrす・赤等の
カラフルな可視光の発光ダイオ−rを使用してもよい。
集音部と発音部を二分し、両者間を電波を用いて結合し
た例は過去にも存在したが、電波法による規制、特に外
国における規制は非常にきひしく、使用場所の制限等が
付加されており、又使用考量相互の混信のli+4題も
あり、十分向足のできるものではなかった。
本発明による光線を媒体とした方法ては、電波法のよう
な規制が世界中どこにも存在ぜす、他に障害を与える可
能性も皆無であるので、極めて有効な結合手段であると
いえる。 身体内を赤外光線がよく伝導する特性に着目
すれば、補聴器に限らず、体内の臓器に光送信装置や光
受信装置を患込み、医療機器用の情報伝達手段としても
その応用は広範囲なものがあり、光線を+ヤリアとして
用いているので、体内に流れている微小電流波、例えば
PjA′I!i、、神経波等の電流波形を乱すことなく
情報伝達を実行できる特徴がある。

Claims (4)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)集音マイクと、集音された音声信号を光学的に変
    調するための手段と、これにより駆動きれる発光系子か
    ら成る光送信装置及び前記発光素子からの光線を受光す
    るための受光系子と、この受光信号を元の音声信号に復
    調するだめの復調手段と、この復調された音声信号によ
    り駆動される電気音響置換器とから成る光受信装置を兵
    権することにより、集音部と発音部を分離し、両者を光
    学的に結合したことを特徴とする補聴器。
  2. (2)光送信装置の発光素子及び光受信装置の受光系子
    が各々身体に密着可能な構危とした特許請求の恥l!B
    第1項記載の補聴器。
  3. (3)光送信装置を腕時計内に装着した特許請求の範囲
    第1項又は第2項記載の補聴器。
  4. (4)光送信装置と光受信装置を光ファイバで結合した
    特許請求の範囲第1項記載の補聴器。
