Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 先端部にステアリングホイールが固着され基端部方向に
    変位可能なステアリングシャフトと、該ステアリングシ
    ャフトを回転自在に車体に支持するとともに、所定以上
    の荷重によって前記方向への変位を許容する支持手段と
    、前記ステアリングシャフトの周部に設けられ、該ステ
    アリングシャフトとともに変位する大径部と、該大径部
    より基端部側に位置し、一端部を車体に固定されるとと
    もに他端部に前記大径部より小径の孔を有し、該孔に前
    記ステアリングシャフトが遊挿されてなるエネルギ吸収
    部材とを備えたことを特徴とするエネルギ吸収式ステア
    リング装置。
