Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 原稿ガラス上の原稿を光源により照明し、その反射光を
    第一ミラー等を介して固体走査素子に導き、原稿像を読
    取る画像読取装置において、光源と第一ミラーとをキャ
    リッジとともにスキャニング走行する照明ユニットとし
    、断面略コ字状に形成されて前記光源を内部に挿入させ
    て支持するとともにその上端に光源光量を補正し得るよ
    うに所定曲面形状のシェーディング補正部を有し、かつ
    、下部側に前記第一ミラーをキャリッジのミラー固定面
    に対して押えつけて支持させる爪部を有する保持部材を
    前記キャリッジに取付けたことを特徴とする画像読取装
    置の照明ユニット保持装置。
