Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically process a customer's orders in a short time correctly and to reduce the labor cost by providing a computer adapted to store a customer's orders and send a driving signal for operating a feeder in response to a detection signal of a sensor. CONSTITUTION:Sensors 11, 12a-12h, 13a-13h for detecting the kind and quantity of a specified cooking material among the cooking materials on a conveyer and feeders 9a-9h, 10a-10h for feeding out cooking materials from the conveyer according to detection of each sensor are disposed corresponding to a plurality of tables 6a-6h, 7a-7h arranged along cooking material delivery conveyers 3-5 to deliver a designated cooking material to a designated table among the plural tables. There is provided a computer 2 adapted to store a customer's orders and send a driving signal for operating a feeder in response to a detection signal of each sensor. In this arrangement, a customer's orders can be automatically processed in a short time and correctly to reduce the labor cost.

At ramen restaurants and the like, food of different types and quantities must be delivered to each customer's table in a short period of time in response to the orders of a large number of customers. For this reason, it is necessary to employ a large number of clerks at all times for busy times. However, such a busy period is only a very short period of time during the business hours of -day, and in the present day when labor costs have skyrocketed, the burden is simply too great. Moreover, when customers' orders conflict with each other, mistakes are more likely to occur, and the store's reputation can be lost.

Therefore, the present invention has been devised to make it possible to deliver a predetermined food to a predetermined table among a plurality of tables arranged along a food delivery conveyor. The system is equipped with a sensor that detects the food and a delivery device that sends out the cooked food from the conveyor based on the sensor's detection, as well as a computer that stores the customer's order and sends a drive signal to operate the delivery device in response to the sensor's detection signal. The purpose is to automatically process customer orders quickly, accurately, and to save on labor costs.

Corresponding to the conveyor direction, each is provided in front of the conveyor in the direction of travel. These sensors detect the type and quantity of food by arranging a pair of light emitting elements and light receiving elements one above the other. In addition, the type of food to be cooked can be distinguished between single-motion A and utensil B.If the upper sensor and the lower sensor detect it, it is a single-motion, and if only the lower sensor detects it, it is a utensil. The distinction between rice balls and grilled pork can be easily detected by taking a photograph and storing it in the computer 2 in advance. In addition, the quantity of cooked food passing through the sensor is
