Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ステアリングホイールに連結されたシャフトの回転トル
    クをステアリングギヤに伝えて車輪の操向制御を行うと
    ともに、前記シャフトの中途部に、別途装備した電動モ
    ータの回転トルクをフリーホイールクラッチを介して伝
    達するモータ駆動型ステアリング装置において、前記シ
    ャフトを駆動するウオームホイールと、該ウオームホイ
    ールと噛合して前記モータによって駆動されるウオーム
    ギヤとを設け、前記ウオームシャフトとウオームギヤ間
    、又は前記ウオームホイールと前記シャ、７ト間とのい
    ずれか一方に、ローラ及び該ローラの間隔を保持するロ
    ーラケージを介装してフリーホイールクラッチを形成す
    るとともに、該フリー・−ホイールクラッチを構成する
    ローラケージとウオームギヤ間に、ウオ」ムギャに伝わ
    る前記電動モータの回転が停止した際の慣性力によって
    発生するフリーホイールクラッチのロック状態を解除す
    るカム機構を設けたことを特徴とする、モータ駆動型ス
    テアリング装置のロック解除装置。
