The present invention improves the disadvantages of the prior art, and makes it possible to irradiate electromagnetic waves approximately evenly on the electromagnetic wave irradiation surface of the living body surface. The objective is to provide an applicator for heating therapy that can eliminate easy burns and intensively heat a predetermined location inside a living body. [Required of the Invention] Accordingly, the present invention provides a heating therapy having an electromagnetic wave power feeding section provided at one end of a main body case, and a radio wave lens section provided at the other end of the main body case. In this applicator, a thin plate made of a dielectric material having a relatively large dielectric constant and attenuation of electromagnetic waves is small is attached to the plurality of metal plates constituting the radio wave lens part, thereby achieving the above purpose. [First Embodiment] Hereinafter, the first embodiment of the present invention will be explained based on FIGS. 6 to 8. First, in FIGS. This shows a case body that functions as a wave tube. The left end of the case body 10 in the figure is equipped with a power supply part 11, and the right end is equipped with a radio wave lens part 12.In the figure, 11 people are An excitation antenna is shown, 11B shows a coaxial cable, 12A,
12A, --.- each indicate a metal plate for a radio wave lens. Also, the electromagnetic wave irradiation opening of this case body 10! The OA is equipped with a body cooling mechanism 13. As shown in the figure, this cooling mechanism 13 includes a contact support plate 21 made of a dielectric plate curved to fit the living body (see A in FIG. 1), and a contact support plate 21 fixed to the outside of the contact support plate 21. It includes a contact plate 22 and a soft film member 23 sealed on the outside of the contact plate 22. Among these, the contact support plate 2
1 has a radiation opening 10 in the case body 10.
A rectangular through hole 21A matching A is formed, and this through hole 21A
An even larger square cut-out hole 22A is formed in the abutment plate 22 as shown in FIG. 7, so that the cooling fluids in the case body 10 and the cooling mechanism 13 can flow very naturally. It becomes. In this embodiment, the cooling liquid used in the cooling mechanism 13 is water (relative permittivity ε, -80.36i, 20° C., measurement wavelength Oo). In the center of the upper surface of the case body 10 in FIG. 6, there is provided a coolant inlet 13A for forcefully feeding the coolant to the cooling mechanism 13, and a coolant outlet 13B is provided in the center of the upper surface of the case body 10 in FIG. 7
As shown in the figure, they are provided at the four corners of the contact support plate 21, so that the cooling liquid can uniformly and effectively cool the entire range from the inside of the case body 10 to the surface of the living body A. There is. As described above, the radio wave lens section 12 is formed of a plurality of metal plates 12A, 12A, . This allows the lens effect to be fully utilized. Further, on the outer end surface of the cooling mechanism 13,
A soft dielectric film member 23 is attached as described above to promote adhesion to the living body. On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 7, a dielectric plate 30 with low loss and a relatively large dielectric constant is attached to the inner wall of the case body 10. In this case, the dielectric plate 30 is attached to an inner wall parallel to the direction of the electric field of the electromagnetic waves. As a result, the electric field distribution inside the case body 10 is as shown in FIG. 8 (1), and the energy of the electromagnetic waves is not concentrated in the center but is approximately equalized, so that the focusing function of the radio wave lens can be fully demonstrated. There is. Each metal plate 12A, 12A of the radio wave lens 12. ~ Next, a lift is installed on the inner wall of the case body IO.
Dielectric member 4 made of the same material as the dielectric member 30
0, 40, etc. are installed. For this reason, the fifth wave that has conventionally occurred in the radio wave lens section 12
It is possible to prevent the electric field distribution from being centered as shown in FIG. 8(2) and FIG. 8(2), and to set the electric field distribution as shown in FIG. 8(3). As a result, it is possible to prevent the lattice-shaped overheating damage that occurs in response to the electric field intensity on the surface of a living body during heating therapy, and to make it possible to cool the surface of the living body (human!lt ffi'f) and uniformly irradiate electromagnetic waves. At the same time, an ideal applicator for heating therapy is obtained in which a predetermined location inside can be heated intensively by the action of the radio wave lens. Further, 14 indicates a drainage means for removing air. Furthermore, in addition to the radio wave lens section 12 shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 above, the radio lens may have the same dimensions but different intervals as shown in FIG. 9 (however, a>b
>c>d>λ/2; λ is the wavelength), or the 10th
As shown in the figure, the metal plates 12A on the inner wall side are arranged at equal intervals and are longer than the one in the center.
It may be possible to use various radio wave lenses. [Second Example] Next, a second example will be described based on FIG. 11. In this embodiment, branching plates 50° 5], 52 are arranged in the center of the case body 10 of the first embodiment, that is, between the power feeding section 11 and the radio wave lens 12, to effectively separate radio waves. The central part of these branch plates 50, 51 and 52 is projected and tied in the direction of the power supply section 11, and the other branch plates 51, 52
Each of them is made to protrude toward the radio wave lens section 12 side. The other configurations are the same as the conventional example described above. The dotted line T in Figure 12 indicates that the electromagnetic wave energy is at the branch plate 50.5.
This shows that it is effectively divided by 1.52. This has the advantage that the irradiation of electromagnetic waves onto the surface of the living body can be made more uniform. [Effects of the Invention] As described above, according to the present invention, the electromagnetic wave power feeding part provided at one end of the main body case and the radio wave lens part provided at the other end of the main case are heated by heating. In the therapeutic applicator, a thin plate made of a dielectric member having a relatively large dielectric constant and little attenuation of electromagnetic waves is attached to the metal plate constituting the radio wave lens part.
The electric field strength of the electromagnetic waves output from the radio lens is
This is an unprecedented and excellent heating therapy that heats the surface of the living body almost evenly over the entire surface of the body, and can centrally heat a specific deep part through the action of the radio wave lens mentioned above. An applicator for use can be provided.
