主磁極を設け、且つ該非磁性材料の他側に酸化物系強磁
性材製リターンパス磁極を設けてなり、該主磁極、リタ
ーンパス磁極及び〜磁気記録媒体を介して形成される閉
磁路により該磁気記録媒体に垂直方向磁化を行なわしめ
る垂直磁化型磁気ヘッドにおいて、前記非磁性材及び主
磁極の接合ラインと前記非磁性材及びリターンパス磁極
の接合ラインとの離間寸法が、少なくとも前記磁気記録
媒体に対する摺接面及びその近傍部分においては、磁気
ヘッド厚さ方向に沿って漸次具なるよう構成してなる垂
直磁化型磁気ヘッド。 2 前記非磁性材及び主磁極の接合ラインを直線状に形
成し且つ前記非磁性材及びリターンパス磁極の接合ライ
ンを円弧状に形成するよう構成してなる実用新案登録請
