Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a corrosion resistance and productivity and resuce a size and weight by a method wherein the outside circumference of a coil, a core and a slot part of a stator is molded with a thermosetting resin and a metal thin film layer and a thermoplastic resin layer are provided to the circumference of the thermosetting resin layer. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a coil 1 and a core 2, which compose a stator, is covered with a molded layer 3 and the molded layer 3 is solidly formed with a thermosetting resin material such as a phenol resin, epoxy resin and a saturated polyester resin. A metal thin film layer 4 such as an aluminum film and an iron film is wound around the molded stator and then made adhere with an epoxy resin or the like and is provided in order to prevent the internal coil 1 from coming off. A thermoplastic resin layer 5, for instance a thermoplastic shrinkable tube, is provided to the outside circumference of the metal thin film layer 4 in order to protect the metal thin film layer 4 from corrosion.

The underwater electric motor constructed in this way is constructed by integrally molding the coil 1 core 2 and slot portion using a thermosetting material such as phenol resin, epoxy resin, or unsaturated polyester resin, and then wrapping a thin metal film around the outer periphery. Since the molded stator is constructed by turning the stator into contact with each other and covering the outer periphery with a thermoplastic shrink tape, a decrease in the insulation life S and a decrease in mechanical strength due to moisture permeation are prevented.

Next, a life estimation test of the molded stator with the above configuration will be explained. Figure 2 shows a molded magnet twisted pair with an insulation structure almost equivalent to that of the actual machine used in the life estimation test. Molded mold layer 12 is the mold layer 11
A metal thin film layer 13 made of aluminum, iron or the like is wound around the outer periphery of the metal thin film layer 12 and fixed by adhesive, and 13 is a corrosion-resistant thermoplastic resin layer covering the outer periphery of the metal thin film layer 12. 14 is two twisted magnet wires. Here, the thickness of the mold layer 11 is
The thickness is set to be the same as that of the mold layer 3 in the stator of the actual machine, so that the test results are equivalent to those of the actual machine.
