    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 入力ディジタルデータの平方根を表わすディジタルデー
    タを送出する平方根演算回路において、上記入力ディジ
    タルデータのレベルを判別するレベル判別回路と、その
    判別出力に対応するビット数２　ｎだけ上記入力ディジ
    タルデータをシフトダウンさせるシフトダウン回路と、
    予め平方根データを記憶し上記シフトダウン回路の出力
    データを一読出信号として対応する平方根データを読出
    す変換回路と、上記レベル判別出力に基づいて上記変換
    回路から読出された平方根データを上記シフトダウンビ
    ット数２０に対してｎビシトだけシフトアップして演算
    結果データとして送出するシフトアップ回路とを具える
    ことを特徴とする平方根演算回路。
