CONSTITUTION:The thread 10 of the screw of a mixing section is shaped into a zigzag form in such a way that the interval of the spiral groove between the adjacent screw threads 10 is composed of a widened portion alpha and a narrowed portion beta, each of which is alternately arranged in the circumferential direction. When passing through each spiral groove 11 of the mixing section 9 rotating with a rotary screw 5, the molten resin raw material undergoes a repeated axial compressing and extending pulsative movement in the widened portion alpha and the narrowed portion beta. A turbulent flow occurs in the molten resin raw material, and therefore, sufficient kneading effects can be obtained.
