び第４図はカムピースの移動状態を示す軸方向断面図で
ある。 ３・・・吸気バルブ、１０・・・カム軸、１２・・・吸
気カムピース、２０・・・スライドベアリング、１２１
・・・カムピースの内側部分、１２２・・・カムピース
の外側部分。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. １つの開閉弁３について異なったカムプロフィールの少
    なくとも２個の駆動カム１３ａ、１３ｂを有するカムピ
    ース１２をスライドベアリング゛２０を介して軸方向に
    移動可能であるが回転方向には移動しないようにカム軸
    １０に装着し、前記カムピース１２を軸方向に移動させ
    ることで前記中なくとも２個の駆動カムを択一的に切り
    換えて開閉弁を動作させるようにした内燃機関の可変バ
    ルブタイミング機構において、前記カムヒース１２は、
    前記スライドベアリング２０に接触する内面を含む内側
    １２１は高い接触面圧に耐える金属材料より成り、外側
    １２２は耐摩耗性の高い金属材料より成り、これら内側
    部分１２１と外側部分１２２は一体的に結合されている
    ことを特徴とする可変バルブタイミング機構。
