A loop network basically consists of one line arranged in a loop,
It is an extremely simple configuration with several nodes (a type of exchange) placed at arbitrary positions on the loop. Since this loop network is susceptible to node failures and line failures, a system with duplicated loops, as shown in FIG. 1, has recently been developed. In this system, both loops 1.2 are connected to the same node N8. N2. N3. In order to prevent the system from going down even if it is divided between N4, both loops 1.2

I was doing it. In addition, the system that the applicant previously applied for (
Japanese Patent Application No. 54-115300) proposes a method of sending a loop check message with its own address added to the transmission line, and checking whether it loops back at an adjacent node or not (hereinafter referred to as "small loop check"). It was carried out by (named).

However, there are cases where the node address is not available, such as when a new node is added, or when the node recovers after a failure but the node address has been deleted. In such cases, a person would check what the address of the node is, decide to check this node so that it does not overlap, and then perform a loop check.

A step of transmitting a message with an automatic address that is sequentially transmitted to the connected devices, and when the message is received, it adds its own address to the message, and if the address is undetermined, an undetermined code is added, and the message is sent in sequence. forming an address string in the message, and forming an identical circular address string pattern in which the address strings in the message are adjacent when the message passes through the transmission system at least twice and returns.
The present invention is characterized in that it includes the step of setting an address different from an established address in the atray column as its own address.
以下、実施例に基づき本発明を説明する。 The present invention will be explained below based on Examples.

A synchronization signal detector 54 detects the pit sequence of this received message and outputs a synchronization signal synchronized with each bit of this pit sequence. The data received by the receiver 52 is stored in an 8-bit register 56 in synchronization with this synchronization signal. First, the devices 17, 18, and 19 execute the following process to detect whether the address automatic setting message is spontaneous (rJ). 系におけるアドレス自動設定方法。[Claims] 1. In a transmission system that sequentially transmits signals among a plurality of devices, when each device has its own address undetermined, a device coupled to the transmission system to set its own address. a step of transmitting a message with an automatic address that is sequentially transmitted to the message, and when the message is received, it adds its own address to the message, and when the address is undetermined, an undetermined code is added, and an address string is sequentially written in the message. and when the message goes around the transmission system at least twice and returns, when the address string in the message includes at least two adjacent identical circular address string patterns, 1. An address automatic setting method in a transmission system, comprising the step of setting an address different from the address of the user as its own address. 2. In the method according to claim 1, the maximum value of determined addresses in the two adjacent same circular address buttons is detected, and the number N of devices whose addresses are undetermined among the plurality of devices is determined. The step of setting the calculated value as its own address, and when −>1, comparing each address adjacent in the signal transmission direction to each address undetermined code in the address string in the message, and calculating the size of the adjacent address. An automatic address setting method in a transmission system, comprising the step of setting the value obtained by adding the maximum value to the number indicating the order as the address of each of the undetermined addresses.
