    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 光入力端と光出力端の間の光路に光路媒質と接する媒質
    が気体のときには主として反射面となり、液体のときに
    は主として透過面となる部分を有する如く光回路を形成
    し、この光回路の光入力端に発光部を、また光出力端に
    受光部をそれぞれ接続し、この受光部の受光量の急変を
    もって液面レベルが所定レベルとなったことを検知する
