Abstract

PURPOSE:To copy a desired picture area of an original to a desired copy area on a copy paper and to make colored picture editing possible by driving one of an original moving means, a lens moving means, a cassette moving means, and a resist roll timing means at least. CONSTITUTION:When a picture area selecting key 575 is depressed after a copy area on a copy paper 312 and a magnification are designated, a picture area on an original 131 is operated automatically, and a picture line 610 is displayed on a display part 600. When an original size selecting key 580 is depressed next, the size of the corresponding original 131 is operated and is displayed as an original initializing line 611. The copy paper 312 is held on an intermediate tray 18 by operating a developing device switching key 545 to designate a color of the copy or operating a multiple mode key 550, and picture editing is performed. Thus, the desired picture area of the original is copied on a desired copy area of the copy paper, and colored picture editing is possible.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Technical Field] The present invention relates to a copying apparatus, and in particular, it is capable of developing multiple colors, specifying colors, and performing multiple transfers. The present invention relates to a copying device capable of copying in a copying area. [Prior Art] Fig. 1 shows an example of a conventional copying apparatus capable of copying onto ordinary paper using a photosensitive drum, in which 1 is a seamless photosensitive member whose surface is made of a photoconductive material. , is a photosensitive drum that can rotate in the direction of the arrow. During one rotation of the photosensitive drum 1, the photosensitive drum 1 is first neutralized by the exposure lamp 2, then corona charged by the primary charger 3, and when it rotates to position 4, it is image exposed and electrostatically charged. A latent image is formed. After that, - either the developing roller 5A or 5B is selected according to an instruction in the developing unit 5, and the toner is visually developed, and then the toner is transferred from the cassette 6A or 6B via the registration roller 7 at an appropriate timing. The transfer charger 8 transfers the image onto the copy paper 312 that is fed onto the drum 1. In addition, 9A and 8
B is a paper feed roller that feeds the paper 312 from the cassettes 8A and 6B. After the transfer, the copy paper 312 is separated from the drum 1 by the separation charger 10, guided by the conveyor belt 11 to the fixing roller 12, where it is thermally fixed by pressure heating.
The sheet is discharged onto a tray 15 via rollers 13 and further through discharge rollers 14. On the other hand, after the transfer paper is separated from the photosensitive drum 1 by the separation charger 10, the toner is cleaned by a brush or the like in the toner collector 16, and the charge is removed by the pre-exposure rub 2 again, and the next copy is made. 17 is interposed between the roller 13 and the paper discharge roller 14. For normal transfer, use flapper 17.
is located at the position indicated by the dotted line, so that the copy paper 312
is guided toward the tray 15, but in the case of multiple transfer, the flapper 17 is moved to the position shown by the solid line, so that it is temporarily stored in the multiple transfer tray 18, and then from there it is guided by the paper feed roller 19. It is guided to the registration roller 7 and transferred to the transfer position on the drum 1 again, that is, the transfer charger 8.
The transfer and fixing steps are repeated. Note that 20 is a blank exposure device for preventing unnecessary toner from adhering to the drum 1, and has a subdivided structure. Next, a device for optically reading an image from a document and a device for irradiating the image onto the drum 1 will be described. 31 is an original for copying placed on a glass original table 32, and 33 is an original pressure plate covered on the upper surface of the original 31. The light reflected from the original 31 can be effectively obtained by the original pressure plate 33. Reference numeral 34 designates an illumination lamp that is integrally constructed with the first scanning mirror 35 and operates in the scanning direction.Furthermore, the second reflection mirror 38 is integrated with the third reflection mirror 37, and these mirrors 36 and 37 are integrated with the first scanning mirror 35. Since the scanning mirror 35 and the like are configured to be moved at half the scanning speed, the optical path length until reaching the fixed lenses 38 and 38 is always kept constant during scanning. 40 is a line sensor composed of a COD memory that inputs the reflected light image on the document 31 obtained through the lens 38; at the same time, the reflected light image is reflected by the fourth reflecting mirror 41 through the lens 38, and is exposed to light. Latent image formation position 4 on drum 1
is projected on. Further, 42 is a standard white board used to correct variations in the amount of light and pixels when reading an image by the CCD sensor 40, and 43 is a standard black board for detecting the edge of the original 31. However, in conventional analog copying devices such as Carlson process, it is possible to edit images on copy paper by multiple-transferring desired image areas to desired copying areas. There was no one that had the ability to specify colors each time. [Object] In view of the above-mentioned problems, an object of the present invention is to enable copying of a desired image area on a document to a desired copying area on copy paper by various means such as document moving means, and furthermore, to It is an object of the present invention to provide a copying apparatus which has a transfer means and a selectable plural color developing means and is capable of editing a colored image in a desired copy area on copy paper. [Example] The present invention will be described in detail below based on the drawings. Note that in the following description of parts having the same functions as those in FIG. 1, reference will be made to FIG. 1, and the same reference numerals will be used. FIG. 2 shows an example of the configuration of the document coordinate detection device according to the present invention. In this example, the surface of the document pressure plate 133 on the side facing the document table 132 is made of a color with low reflectance, for example, black. Also,
A CCD sensor 140 transmits a reflected light image from a document 131 held between a document table 132 and a pressure plate 133 to a lens 138.
In this example, the output from the CCD sensor 140 is sent to the amplifier 1.
41, and further converted into a digital value by an A/D converter 142. Then, this digital value is compared with the standard value read from the tank double white plate 42 shown in FIG.
Binarizes the image into white or black. Now, as shown in FIG. 3, the original 131 is placed on the original platen
32, the CCD
The reflected light image is read by the pixels of the sensor 140 along the Y-axis, and optical scanning is performed in the X-axis direction, so that each Y-axis line starts from black using the above-mentioned binary signal. You can see the coordinates of the position where it turned white and the coordinates of the position where it last changed from white to black. That is, the shaded area in FIG.
This is a portion where the reflected light is black because the surface of a document pressure plate 133 (not shown) covered on the top surface is black or the like. Therefore, the B-W detection circuit 145 shown in FIG.
Then, based on the binary signal from the binarization circuit 144, detect the Y coordinate of the position where black first changes to white on the Y axis line and the X coordinate of that line, and calculate these X and Y coordinate components. As a position detection signal, the B-W maximum value detection circuit 14
B and -B-111 are output to the minimum value detection circuit 147. Now, when scanning in the X-axis direction is performed, if we trace the trajectory of the position where the color changes from black to white in FIG. After that, the Y coordinate of the change position gradually decreases and reaches the minimum value Y+-p-eV at the corner point 131B. Then the Y coordinate increases to corner point 13
At 1C, the maximum value Y19 (-eV is reached, and after that the point of change from black to white disappears. Therefore, the maximum value detection circuit 146 detects the corner point 131C and outputs the detection signal (X, , Y). , the minimum value detection circuit 147 detects the corner point 131B and outputs the detection signal (X3
+YMIN-trw) can be output to a CPH (not shown). Similarly, the B detection circuit 148 shown in FIG. ,
The Y coordinate component is output as a position detection signal to the W-B maximum value detection circuit 148 and the G-B minimum value detection circuit 150. Therefore, these detection circuits 1411 and 150 have corner points 13111 and 13!, respectively. A is detected and the detection signals (X2, Ym'11B) '13 and (Xa +YP
II, 1-ve) can be output from the CPU axis. In this way, it is possible to cause the CPU (not shown) to perform various calculations as will be described later based on these position detection signals, and to operate the control device for obtaining proper copies. Next, according to FIGS. 4 and 5, the document 13 as described above! A calculation method for calculating the amount of positional deviation will be explained. Figure 4 shows the case where the original 131 is placed diagonally in the same condition as in Figure 3, and the frame indicated by the broken line is the original 131.
indicates the normal reference position in which it should be placed. First, the controller determines that the document is placed diagonally when Yrw, vW and Y, bond position coordinates are different. Therefore, the deviation angle θ1 at this time is jan'(Y, N6
w-Ym1w/XI
'(YMl, Iw-Y, , vd/XI-X3) can be determined based on the negative value. Further, the example in FIG. 5 illustrates a case where the original 131 is placed offset in the counterclockwise direction with the corner point 131B as the center. In this case, the deviation angle θ2 is tan' (YNIN, B1
7--1/XI X3), ja
n'(V,N-Yibon/L-)h) By taking a positive value, it can be determined that the original document 131 is shifted in the counterclockwise direction around the corner point 131B. can. Thus, in order to correct the position of the document 131 placed in this way, in the case of FIG.
All you have to do is move it counterclockwise by 01 degrees.
Furthermore, in the case of FIG. 5, the document 131 may be rotated by an angle of 02 degrees clockwise about the corner point 131B. In this way, after correcting the orientation angle of the original 131,
To further move the document 131 to the reference position, use the document moving device again to move the document 131 in the X-axis direction by a distance x3 in the case of FIG. 4, and further by a distance Y1 . In the case of Fig. 5, you only need to move by x3 in the X-axis direction in the same way. It is sufficient to move by Y, ... in the Y-axis direction. Note that the size of the original document 131 can also be calculated. That is, in the case of FIG. 4, the longitudinal dimension X of the original 131 can be taken as (XI - X3 ) Cos θ1, and the width direction dimension YR can be expressed as
, it can be written as the poem Eosθ. In addition, in the case of Fig. 5, xL is (Xl - X3
)Cosθ2, Yl'3 ('?,, -wt+YM
TN, FM)"s02. Next, the document moving device will be explained with reference to FIGS. 6(A) and (B). FIG. The moving mechanism is shown here, and 201 is shown in FIG.

This is a holding member that holds 1. This holding member 203 is made movable along a guide groove 204A of a running member 204 that is movable laterally, and both ends of a wire 206 stretched between pulleys 205A and 205B are connected to the holding member 203. This allows movement in the Y-axis direction by the stepping motor 207. 208 is a guide groove for moving the running member 204 in the X-axis direction, and by connecting both ends of a wire 210 stretched between the pulleys 208A and 208B to the running member 204, the running member 204 is moved by the stepping motor 211.
can travel in the X-axis direction. Further, the holding member 203 has a magnet 212, and when the magnet 212 comes into contact with a reed switch 213 provided on the traveling member 204, the switch 213 is closed and the Y-axis home position is detected. Positioned by Further, the running member 204 has a magnet 215, and the magnet 215
When the Y-axis contacts the reed switch 218, the switch 21B is closed and the Y-axis home position is detected, and at the same time, the stopper 217 performs positioning. Note that 218 indicates the home position in which the Y-axis and the positioning in the Y-axis direction have been determined. 220A to 220D are support columns for the document pressure plate 133;
When there is no need to correct the position of the document 131, the support columns 220A to 220D are retracted and stored in the outer shell 133A forming the document pressure plate 133. When it is necessary to move the document 131 to correct its position, these support columns 220A to 220D are driven by a drive means (not shown) in response to a document pressure plate movement signal from C20 (not shown) to move the document 131 outside the pressure plate @ 133A. is lifted upward to keep only the document moving member 202 in contact with the document 131. FIG. 7 shows the configuration of the drive circuit of the document moving device. 230
is a controller, and the controller 230 includes a signal Sv as rotation data such as rotation angle θ, θ, etc. for correction, a movement data signal SX indicating the amount of movement in the X-axis direction, and an amount of movement in the Y-axis direction. Movement data signal SY that instructs
Also, home position detection signals SHy and SHY in the Y-axis and Y-axis directions are supplied. Therefore, the controller 230 first initializes the document moving device based on the home position detection signals SH〆 and SHY, and first drives the support columns 220A to 220D via the driver 231 to lift the document pressure plate. Next, when it is necessary to correct the angular deviation of the document 131, a rotation signal E is sent via the driver 233 depending on whether the rotation is clockwise or counterclockwise based on the data signal ST. F, E, and F are supplied to the stepping motor 201 to rotate it, and a necessary angle correction circuit for the moving member 202 is executed. Furthermore, when it is necessary to correct the movement in the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction, the X

In the case of movement in the Y-axis direction, the stepping motor 207 is supplied with rotation signals C, O; Execute axis movement and Y-axis movementg. Next, a cassette moving device that makes it possible to move and transfer a copy image in the axial direction of a photosensitive drum will be described with reference to FIG. Here, 30B is a cassette that is movable in the axial direction of the photosensitive drum 1 shown in FIG. 1, and 306A is a cassette support mounted on the cassette 306. Pulleys 307A and 30
Both ends of the wire 308 stretched between the cassette 306 and the cassette 307 are connected to each other, and the stepping motor 309 drives the pulley 307B so that the cassette 306 can be moved along the guide groove 310. Reference numeral 311 is a paper feed roller that feeds the copy paper 312 from this cassette 306, and 313 is a roller rotation shaft that holds the paper feed roller 311 in a movable state in the axial direction. Therefore, the cassette support stand 30 is attached to the paper feed roller 311.
The other end of the lever 314 whose end is fixed to the lever 314 is brought into contact with the eaves, and when the cassette 308 is moved along the guide groove 310, the paper feed roller 311 also touches the lever 31.

A stepping motor 444 allows the lens stand 440 to be moved in the X-axis direction. Furthermore, 445 is a lens rotating member capable of linear movement in the Y-axis direction, and one end of the rotating member 445 is a guide groove. 44B, and when the lens stand 440 is moved in the X-axis direction, the linear movement of the member 445 in the Y-axis direction causes the lens 438 to rotate around its optical axis 4311A. The magnification of the lens 43θ can be changed by changing the magnification of the lens 43θ. -447 is a magnet attached to the lens stand 440, 44
8 is a reed switch, and when the magnet 447 contacts the reed switch 448, the contact is closed, thereby detecting the home position in the X-axis direction, and positioning the home position by the stopper 449. Note that all the devices described above are installed on the traveling member 450. Thus, the pulley 4 is attached to this running member 450.
Both ends of a wire 452 stretched between 51A and 451B are connected, and a stepping motor 453 drives a pulley 4.
51B to make the member 450 movable along the guide groove 451. 454 is a magnet attached to this traveling member 450;
Reference numeral 55 denotes a reed switch, and when the magnet 454 contacts the reed switch 455, the contact is closed, thereby detecting the home position in the Y-axis direction, and positioning is performed by the stopper 458. FIG. 11 shows an example of the configuration of a drive circuit of a lens moving device, where 480 is a controller, and the controller 460 receives an X-axis movement data signal S= related to the magnification of an image via an operation section to be described later. Y-axis movement data signal Ss related to movement in the drum axis direction, reed switch 4
The X-axis home position detection signal S, , × from 48 and the Y-axis home position detection signal from reed switch 455 are supplied. In this way, the controller 460 executes initialization using the detection signals S(,
, σ, T, and the X of the lens 43B shown in FIG.
The magnification of the copied image can be changed by axial movement and rotation around the optical axis 438A. In addition, if the designated data is related to image movement, the rotation signal I, J or D9 is supplied to the stepping motor 453 via the driver 463, and the lens 43 is
Image shifting can be performed by laterally moving 9 in the Y-axis direction. As is clear from the above description, the copy image can be moved in the axial direction of the photosensitive drum 1 using any of the document moving device, the cassette moving device, and the lens moving device. That is, FIG. 12 shows a case in which the image is shifted in the axial direction of the drum l by the document moving device. In this case, by moving the document 131 to the position indicated by the broken line in the axial direction, the reflected light image is shifted to the lens. 439, the image is formed on the drum 1 at the position indicated by the broken line, and a copy image 312A is obtained by shifting to the position indicated by the broken line on the copy paper 312. FIG. 13 shows a case where a similar shift is executed by a cassette moving device. In this case, by moving the cassette 306 to the position shown by the broken line, the copy paper 312 stored in the cassette 306 is moved to one point on the drum 1. Since the paper is fed to the position shown by the chain line, a copy image 312A is obtained on the copy paper 312 at the position shown by the solid line. Furthermore, FIG. 14 shows a case where the image is shifted by a lens moving device. In this example, there is no need to move the original 131 and the cassette 30B, and only the lens 438 is moved in the axial direction of the drum 1. Therefore, copy paper 312
A copy image 312A can be obtained at the position indicated by the broken line. Next, the copy image 312A is scanned in the scanning direction, that is,
To shift in a direction perpendicular to the axis of drum 1, use the 15th
This is also possible by adjusting only the registration timing of the registration rough as shown in the figure. In the conventional case, the image leading edge is aligned with the copy paper 312 by driving the registration rollers 7 after a certain period of time of scanning starting from the image leading edge 131L of the original 131. Note that m here is the scanning distance until the registration roller 7 is driven with a certain time delay. Therefore, the copy image 312A is moved to the leading edge side of the copy paper 312. When moving the copy image 312A to the rear end side of the copy paper 312, the registration roller 7 is driven at a timing faster than the fixed time described above. The registration roller 7 may be driven. Therefore, by driving the registration rollers 7 at an accelerated timing, for example, by advancing the copy paper 312 by the dimension text, it is possible to move the image on the original 131 to a position P' close to the trailing edge on the copy paper 312. can. In this case, the image can be moved to a similar position P' on the copy paper 310 by moving the original 131, for example, to the left in this figure by the dimension text using the original moving device. Note that it goes without saying that the adjustment of the registration timing described above and the movement of the document 131 by the document moving device may be used together. Next, with reference to FIGS. 17 and 18, an explanation will be given of the operation section of the copying apparatus of the present invention that enables operations such as document area and copy area setting and double height specification, and the display section on which these are displayed. That is, in the great invention, by operating various keys provided on the operation unit 500, the position and size of the original and copy paper, as well as the image area can be displayed on the display unit, and at the same time, the magnification selection and calculation keys can be displayed. , and other various mode keys, various modes can be executed. In FIG. 17, 501 is a magnification designation key, and 502 and 503 are magnification increase keys and magnification reduction keys. First, by pressing the designation key 501 to designate the magnification, and then operating the key 502 or 503, The magnifications are increased or decreased, and these magnifications are displayed on the display section 60 shown in FIG.
It is displayed as a number on the magnification display section 801 of 0. 510 is a group of desired area designation keys; 511 is a document area designation key; 512 is a copy area designation key;
Reference numerals 13 and 514 are light emitting diodes LEDs for displaying original designation and copy designation, respectively. Furthermore, 515 to 5 provided on the top of these keys
Reference numeral 22 denotes an operation key that can freely move the original line 610 and the copy line 620 displayed on the display section 600 left and right and up and down. Therefore, when specifying the document 131 to a desired area,
First, when the document area designation key 511 is pressed, the LED 513 that displays the designation lights up, and the LED 514 remains off, so the keys 515 to 522 are then operated to move the document line 810 to the desired position. It can be an area. That is, when the line designation key 515 is pressed, the display section 6

Furthermore, by pressing the line designation keys 515 and 516 at the same time, the frame lines 610L and 610R can be returned to the original initialization lines 811L and 611R. Next, to move the upper frame line 610U and the lower frame [8100 of the original line 810, line designation keys 518 and 520 are operated. In this way, the frame line 810U can be moved upward and downward by pressing the line operation key and 521 and 522 with the line specification key 519 turned on and the LED 5111S lit. Press line operation key 5 with LED 520S lit.
By pressing 21 and 522, frame line 1!10

By pressing line designation keys 518 and 520 simultaneously, these frame lines etou and 610D can be initialized to the positions of initialization lines 811U and 811[1. The case of specifying the document area has been described above, but in the case of specifying a copy area, by pressing the copy area specifying key 514, the specification is displayed by lighting the LED 514, and the LED 513 is kept in the off state. Therefore, when moving the left frame line 620L of the rectangular copy line frame line 820 shown on the display section 600, press the line designation key 515 and press the line operation keys 515 and 516 in the same manner as described above. For the right frame line 620R, the same operation can be performed by pressing the line designation key 516. In addition, when moving the upper frame line 820U and the lower frame line 8200 of the frame lines 620, use the line designation key 5

By pressing and 520 simultaneously, the frame lines 620υ and 620D can be initialized to the positions of the initialization copy lines 821U and 621D. 530 is a document detection key for detecting the size of the document. When the original detection key 530 is pressed, the optical scanning device,
In other words, in the example of Fig. 1, the light source lamp 34° mirror 35.3
B.3? A device constituted by a lens 38 and a lens 38 can perform pre-scanning, detect the position of the original document 131 using a CCD line sensor 40, and display the position on a display section 800. Therefore, if there is a deviation in the position or orientation of the original 131,
The document moving device can return the document 131 to its normal position via the controller 230 shown in FIG. The dimensions can also be displayed numerically. Thus, the display section 80
For example, the size is 0R in the manuscript size table of 0 or 802.
= A4. 540 is a cassette display key; 540 is a cassette display key;
40 is pressed, the size of the copy paper 312 stored in the selected cassette 306 is displayed on the display section 600 as a copy initialization line 621, and at the same time, its length is displayed in mm, and the size name is also displayed. It is displayed on the cassette size display section 603. Reference numeral 545 designates a switching key for the developing device 5 (see FIG. 1). This switching key 545 allows switching to either the developing roller 5A or 5B, and the switched color is displayed on the color display section 604 of the display section 600. will be displayed. 550 is a multiple mode key;
Multiple copying can be specified by pressing this key, and when this is pressed, the switching flapper 17 shown in FIG. 1 is switched to the position shown by the solid line, and the copy paper 312 is sent to the intermediate tray 1B.
The following multiple copies can be executed. 560 is a group of keys for the car selection mode. That is, 565 is an automatic magnification calculation key, and when this automatic magnification calculation key 565 is pressed, the magnification of the copy area on the copy paper 312 with respect to the image area on the original 131 is calculated, and the magnification is displayed. In other words, when the key 565 is pressed, the magnification calculation mode is indicated by the lighting of the LED 585S and the other lights in the same column.
In this case, the size of the original 131 is automatically detected, and the specified copy paper 31 is
2, that is, the size of the skein, h30B (see FIG. 8) is displayed on the display section 600. Therefore, the desired image area on the original document 131 and the desired copy on the copy paper 312 are selected by the handler by various operations on the group of desired area designation keys described above. Assuming that the copy area has been specified and the key 565 is pressed, the magnification of the copy area with respect to the image area is automatically calculated, and the magnification is displayed on the magnification display section 601. In this case, the x:Y ratio for the area designated first is stored in the CPU (not shown), and when specifying the area later, the X:Y ratio of the previously stored area is stored. line 610 while corresponding to the ratio of
Or line 620 moves. 570 is an automatic copy area selection key. Pressing the key 570 indicates that the copy area automatic selection mode is active.
This is indicated by the lighting of EII 57O3 and the turning off of other LEDs in the same row. In this case, the size of the original 131 is automatically detected, and the size of the specified copy paper, that is, the cassette, is displayed on the display section 600. Is displayed. Therefore, when the handler specifies a desired image area on the document 131 and specifies the magnification by operating the magnification designation key 501 and the borrow variation keys 502 and 503, and then presses the area selection mode key 570. , the area to be copied on the copy paper 312 is automatically calculated and displayed as a copy line 620. In this case, further press the copy area key 512,
It goes without saying that by operating the keys 515 to 522, it is possible to move the copy line 620 vertically and horizontally while keeping it in this state. 575 is an automatic image area selection key. By pressing the key 575, the image area automatic selection mode is indicated by the lighting of the LED 575S and other lights on the same line.
The size of the document 131 is automatically detected in this case as well, and the specified size of the copy paper 312 is further displayed on the display section 600. Therefore, when the operator specifies the copy area and magnification on the copy paper 312 and presses the image area selection key 575, the image area on the document 131 is automatically calculated and the image line 610 is It is displayed on the display section 600. In this case, by further pressing the document area key 513 and operating the keys 515 to 522, it is possible to move the image line 610 vertically and horizontally while maintaining its shape. Reference numeral 580 is an original size selection key, and by pressing the key 580, the fact that the original size selection mode is in effect is indicated by lighting up LED 58O3 and turning off the other LEDs in the same row. In this case, the specified copy paper is selected. 31
Only size No. 2 is displayed on the display section 600. Therefore, when the handler specifies the copy area to be obtained on the copy paper 312 and the magnification, and presses the document size selection rate -580, the size of the corresponding document 131 is calculated. Initialize the original 1 in 61
The size is displayed as 1. Note that the image area on the original document 131 and the copy area on the copy paper 312 can be set automatically or manually by the key operations on the operation unit 500 described above. Copying the image area to the copy area can be accomplished using a series of means such as the document moving device, lens moving device, and cassette moving device described above. Further, by operating the developer switching key 545 to specify the color for copying, or by operating the multiplex mode key 550, the copy paper 312 is temporarily held in the intermediate tray 18 and the next specification is made, thereby editing the image. Furthermore, it is also possible to specify a color each time a copy is made. 590 is an automatic cassette selection key. Pressing the key 590 indicates that the cassette automatic selection mode is present.
This is displayed by turning on the D580S and turning off the other LEDs in the same row, and in this case, only the automatically detected document size is displayed on the display section 600. Therefore, the handler specifies the image area on the document 171 and the magnification, and then presses the automatic cassette selection key 590.
When is pressed, the optimal size of copy paper 312 that meets these conditions is automatically calculated, and the cassette size that accommodates copy paper 312 of that size is displayed on the cassette display section 803. In addition, if there is no such cassette size, only the copy line 621 corresponding to the size is displayed and the L
ED 590S is flashed. In the above explanation, the case where the document size is detected by a combination of an optical scanning device and a CCD line sensor 40 has been explained, but in this case, as mentioned above, pre-scanning before copying is required. Ru. Therefore, an area sensor (not shown) can be used in addition to the CCN scan sensor 40 and the optical scanning device.
The position of the original 131 can be obtained when the original detection key 530 is pressed, and the position can be corrected by driving the original moving device while viewing the positional deviation displayed on the display unit 600. Needless to say. As described above, the operation unit 500 not only allows inputting the selection of the size and position of the image area and the copy area, the setting of the double height, and the execution of calculations related to these before copying, but also the size of the original 131. , position, cassette size, etc. are all sequentially displayed on the display section 800. Therefore, the position and size of the document 131 can be detected in conjunction with pressing a copy key (not shown) to start copying, and the display section 600 can display the position and size of the document 131. If the document 131 is in an incorrect position, the start of copying is suspended for a certain period of time regardless of whether the copy key is pressed, and the handler is alerted and asked whether corrections are possible. You can also. Therefore, if the document moving device is not driven or the document pressure plate 133 is not manually released within a certain period of time, it is assumed that the handler has approved the incorrect position, and the copying operation is automatically started, or the copying operation is restarted. It is also possible to start the operation only when the button is pressed. Furthermore, in the case of multiple transfer, it is also possible to edit a colored image by setting the color specification order in advance and executing multiple transfer according to this order.
Also, for example, by using an internal eraser or the like, the fixed yt! iFOR
It is also possible to add MAT sentences, pages, dates, etc. [Effect] As explained above, according to the great invention, the document moving means,
By driving at least one of the lens moving means, the cassette moving means, and the registration roller timing control means, a desired image area on a document can be copied to a desired copying area on copy paper, and the desired image area can be selected. By providing a multi-color developing means and a multiple transfer means, it has become possible to edit a color image in a desired copy area on copy paper. In the above explanation, it has been described that the color is specified for each copying operation, but it is possible to specify the color for each copy sheet on which multiple transfers are made. Needless to say, it is also possible to perform multiple transfers using a plurality of colors in one designated copy area. In addition, it can be linked to a general-purpose automatic document feeder to perform color editing according to a preset mode, and if the mechanism is capable of double-sided copying, it can also be linked to this. It is also possible to perform similar color editing by
