There are various types of microfilm such as roll film and fish film, and a large number of information frames are arranged in parallel on the film. Normally, when a large number of subject manuscripts are photographed on microfilm, one document (one unit) with related information content is photographed in sequence on a series of frames on the microfilm. Therefore, on the microfilm, groups of information frames with related information contents are consecutively arranged at regular intervals. For example, when photographing a patent specification on roll microfilm, one page of a patent specification is taken as one frame, and the information for one item is displayed on the first page in a group of information frames with the number of frames corresponding to the number of tributes to one item. This information group for one item becomes one item (one unit) of information related to the information content.

When copying each frame of a desired item on microfilm using a copying machine equipped with an information retrieval device, first copy the information frame group at the beginning (first page) of the desired item on the microfilm that requires copying. After searching for a piece and finding the first piece of the desired item, place the first piece at the copy position (print position), then operate the copy button to copy the first piece, and after copying the first piece, The operator feeds the microfilm and places the next (second page) frame at the copying position, then operates the copy button to copy the next frame, and repeats the above operation for only one frame. By repeating this process, a desired copy of each piece is obtained.

With this method, the operator has to feed the microfilm frame by frame, position the frame at the copying position, and operate the copy button, making the copying process extremely cumbersome, time-consuming, and very time-consuming. It was inconvenient. Additionally, in general, in copying machines, copy paper is ejected to the copy paper output tray with the copy image forming side facing upward (so that the operator can immediately observe the condition of the copy image on the copy paper). Since they are stacked on top in the order of output, when you start copying the information of a desired item from the first frame, the copy sheets that are rolled side by side in the copy paper output tray one after another are copies of the frame of the last page of the group of information frames of the desired item. For this reason, the stacking order of the copy sheets is reversed, and the operator has to rearrange the stacking order of the copy sheets so that they are in page order from the top after copying is completed, which is very inconvenient. A collating machine can be used to automatically arrange the pages in order, but this has the disadvantage that the equipment is expensive. An object of the present invention is to completely eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, and to make it possible to automatically start copying information on a desired item from the frame of the last page by performing a single copying operation.
The purpose of copying is to arrange and stack pages in a predetermined correct order.

Then, the entire surface is exposed to light by the entire surface exposure lamp 19 to form an electrostatic latent image on the drum surface, and the developing device 20
The latent image is visualized. Next, the excess developer on the drum is squeezed out by a negative charger 21 without disturbing the image.
Then, the paper feed rollers 22, 23, 24 feed the cassette 5.
A sheet of copy paper (transfer paper) S sent from the photosensitive drum 15 is brought into close contact with the photosensitive drum 15, and the visible image on the drum 15 is transferred onto the copy paper S by the transfer charger 25. After the transfer, the copy paper S is separated from the drum 15 by a separation belt 26 and guided to a drying and fixing section 27. On the other hand, the remaining toner and developer are wiped off by a blade 28 that is pressed against the surface of the drum 15.
Repeat the next copy cycle again. Note that the paper feed roller 2
2 is constantly rotating, and when the drum 15 reaches a predetermined position, it descends in response to a signal generated and comes into contact with the topmost copy paper S in the cassette 5, sending out one copy paper from the cassette. After that, it rises again, and subsequent paper feeding is performed by timing rollers 23 and 24.

In FIG. 4, the driving force of a motor 60 driven at a constant speed is transmitted to a reduction sprocket gear 62 via a reduction mechanism 61, and an inorganic chain 68 is connected between this reduction sprocket gear 62 and other sprocket gears 63 to 67. It's being passed around. The sprocket gears 65 and 66 are each rotatably supported by a rotating shaft, one sprocket gear 65 being connected to the rotating shaft via a reverse clutch 70, and the other sprocket gear 66 being connected to a forward clutch 71. When the clutches 70, 71 are turned on, the corresponding sprocket gears 65, 66 and the rotation shaft are drivingly connected, and when the clutches 70, 71 are turned off, the respective sprocket gears are connected to each other. 65 and 66 rotate freely relative to the rotating ratchet. Sprocket gears 72 and 73 are fixed to one end of the rotating shaft of each sprocket gear 65 and 66, respectively, and an endless chain 74 is stretched between the sprocket gears 72 and 73. A small gear 75 fixed to the end of the sprocket shaft of the sprocket gear 66 and a large gear 76 are engaged with each other, and a wire 79 is wound around a pulley 77 fixed to the large gear 76 and an idler pulley 78. Both ends of 79 are fixed to pins 80 and 81 of movable member 47. The wire 79 is wound so as to reciprocate around the movable members 47 and 48 in accordance with the direction of rotation of the small gear 75. Either one of the clutches 70, 71 is selectively operated, and when the forward clutch 71 is turned on in response to a copy command signal to be described later, the sprocket gear 66 and its rotating shaft are connected, and the small gear 75 and the large gear 76 are activated. The carrier holding table 50 is rotated and moved forward by the wire 79. On the other hand, when the reverse clutch 70 is turned on in response to a copy end signal, which will be described later, the sprocket gear 65 and its rotating shaft are connected, and the chain 7
4, the rotation shaft of the procket gear 66 rotates, and the carrier holding table 50 is moved back by the small gear 75, the large gear 76, and the wire 79. When both clutches 70, 71 are off, the rotating shafts of the respective procks 65, 66 do not rotate, and therefore the gears 75, 76 do not rotate, so the carrier holding table 50 stops. The drum driving sprocket gear 67 is coupled to an intermediate gear 83, and the intermediate gear 83 meshes with a gear 84 that is integrated with the photosensitive drum 15. Therefore, when the chain 68 is driven, the photosensitive drum 15 rotates in the direction of arrow C at a constant speed. Switches S, , S located at the top of the machine box 4
2 detects the position of the carrier holding stand 50; when the microswitch S, detects the carrier holding stand 50, the carrier holding stand 50 is at the home position; when the carrier holding stand 50 is located at the home position; The microfilm image is projected onto a screen and can be viewed.

When a print signal, which will be described later, is sent to the forward clutch 71, the carrier holding table 50' moves forward from this home position and starts copying the microfilm, and when the copying operation is completed, the micro switch S2 switches the carrier holding table 5.
0 is detected, a copy end signal is output from the microswitch S2, and this signal turns on the reverse clutch 70, thereby causing the carrier holding base 50 to move backward. When the microswitch SI detects the carrier holding stand 50, the reverse clutch 70 is turned off and the carrier holding stand 50 stops at the home position. FIG. 5 shows the microfilm carrier fixedly held on the carrier holding stand 5.

After the copying of frame B is completed, the print drive circuit 154 generates a copy completion signal, but since the flip-flop FF2 is in the set state, the AND gate G4 does not open, and the signal for operating the backward feeding device 151 is not output from the AND gate G4. Output is inhibited, which prevents film advance and copying operations. On the other hand, when the copy end signal is generated, the AND gate G5 opens, and the output signal of the AND gate G5 causes a display unit (not shown) to display that copying of each frame of the desired item has been completed, or lights up the lamp 39. Then, the image of the first frame B is projected on the screen to notify the completion of the copying operation. Thereafter, the user searches for other information using the search device in the same manner as described above, and by operating the copy button after search, the desired search information is similarly copied. Therefore, by simply operating the copy button once, the operator can automatically copy each piece of the desired item and obtain copies aligned in order, without having to rearrange them in order after copying as in the past. Also, there is no need to provide a dedicated collating machine, making copying extremely easy. FIG. 10 shows another embodiment of the print control circuit, in which parts similar to the previous embodiment are designated by the same reference numerals.

13 is the copy number setting dial shown in FIG. 1, 200 is a counter that counts the copy completion signal output from the AND gate G5, and 201 is a comparison between the current counted value of the counter 200 and the number of copies set by the copy number setting dial 13. A comparison circuit compares two input numerical values every time the count value of a counter 200 changes, outputs a copy command pulse signal at an appropriate timing when they do not match, and does not output a copy command pulse signal when they match.

When the copying operation for one copy from the last piece Ax to the first horse ship is completed, a copy completion signal is output from the AND gate G5, and this signal is counted by the counter 200. In other words, the counter 200' counts the number of times one piece of information has been copied. When the counter 200 performs a counting operation, the comparison circuit 201 compares the counted value of the counter 200 and the set value of the number of copies setting dial 13, and if the two do not match, outputs a copy command pulse signal, and this pulse signal advances the film forward. The device is activated, causing the same operation as when the copy button 11 is operated. That is, the last piece Ax is placed at the copying position again, and copies are made one copy at a time from the last piece Ax to the first piece A. In this way, the second copy operation is performed. Thereafter, the copying operation is repeated one copy at a time in this order from Ax piece to A piece in the same manner as described above, and when N copies are made for A, to Ax piece, the count value of the counter 200 (becomes N). When the set number of copies N matches, the comparator circuit 201 does not output the copy command pulse signal, thereby completing the copying of the desired number of copies for the desired item.

In this case as well, the subject mark is placed on the side of the top (first page) frame. As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to automatically copy a group of frames with related information content by using two types of marks on a film, and moreover, it is possible to copy a plurality of copies.
It is very convenient to be able to automatically obtain copies that are aligned in order, and there is no need for a special machine to align the pages.
