Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce mixing of hot-water with cold water in a hot-water reserving tank at the boundary surface between them and improve the hot-water discharging characteristic of the tank by a method wherein at least one sheet of baffle plate is provided above and below a heater equipped to the lower part in the hot-water reserving tank. CONSTITUTION:Heating of hot-water in the hot-water reserving tank 1 by the heater 3 is effected uniformly in the whole area in the tank 1 by a natural convection diffused by a plurality of fluid passing holes 6 of the baffle plate 7. Water, flowing into the tank 1 through an inlet pipe 5 upon hot-water supplying, collides against the baffle plate 7 and is diffused, therefore, the water flows uniformly and collides against the heater 3. Accordingly, the fluid, heated by the heater 3, will never be biased specially. Further, the flow of water collides against the baffle plate 7 and diffused further, then, it becomes uniform flow, it pushes the upper high temperature layer B of the tank up, therefore, forming of a mixed layer A at the boundary surface may be restrained and the hot-water in the high temperature layer B may be used effectively.

The operation of this conventional hot water heating tank will be explained. The temperature of hot water in the hot water storage tank 20 is controlled by a thermostat 26 to maintain a constant value. Therefore, the temperature of the hot water in the hot water storage tank 2o is initially constant within a certain set temperature range. If pressurized water is supplied through the water inlet pipe 24 in this state, the hot water in the hot water storage tank 20 will be divided into two layers: high temperature layer and low temperature layer.
The high-temperature water is separated into layers and discharged from the tap water pipe 23.

One of the points to improve the hot water output characteristics of the hot water heating tank using this push-up method is to mix the hot water stored in the hot water storage tank 2° (high temperature layer) with the water flowing in through the water inlet pipe 24 (low temperature layer). The problem lies in how to prevent it.

In the configuration shown in this conventional example, the force of the water flowing in from the water inlet pipe 24 is strong, so as shown in Figure 2, a large A is formed at the boundary surface, and the water temperature remains high and constant. It was difficult to obtain such good hot water tapping characteristics.

With this configuration, the water that flows into the hot water storage tank from the inlet pipe is heated uniformly by the heater and the hot water in the hot water storage tank is evenly pushed up, making it difficult for hot water to mix with the water. DESCRIPTION OF AN EMBODIMENT An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4.

The hot water storage tank 1 has a lid 2 airtightly attached to its upper end, and has a heater 3 for heating hot water at its bottom. The hot water storage tank 1 is provided with a hot water outlet pipe 4 which opens at the upper part of the interior of the hot water storage tank 1 and introduces hot water, and an inlet pipe 5 which opens at the lower part of the interior of the hot water storage tank 1 and supplies pressurized water.

The operation of the hot water heating tank with the above configuration will be explained. The input to the heater 3 is controlled by the thermostat 8 so that the temperature of the hot water in the hot water storage tank 1 is maintained at a constant value. Heater 3
Heating can be performed uniformly over the entire area inside the tank 1 due to natural convection diffused by the plurality of fluid passage holes 6 provided in the baffle plate 7. Therefore, the hot water in the hot water storage tank 1 is constant within a certain set temperature range.

In this state, the hot water supply state is entered, and when pressurized water flows in from the water inlet pipe 5, the hot water in the hot water storage tank 1 is pushed out of the hot water storage tank 1 through the hot water outlet pipe 4.

The operation of the baffle plates 7' and 7 at this time will be explained. Water flowing into the hot water storage tank 1 from the water inlet pipe 5 hits the baffle plate 7', is diffused, and hits the heater 3 as a uniform flow. Therefore, the fluid heated by the heater 3 is not particularly biased. Furthermore, this flow hits the baffle plate 7 and becomes a further diffused uniform flow, pushing up the high temperature layer at the top of the tank. For this reason,
As shown in FIG. 4, the mixed layer A at the pushing-up interface is extremely small.

したがって上記構成によれば、給湯時の貯湯タンク1内

Therefore, according to the above configuration, since the formation of a mixed layer in the hot water storage tank 1 during hot water supply is suppressed, there is an effect that the hot water in the high temperature MB can be used effectively.

さらに本構成によれば、ヒータ3の加熱による自然対流

Furthermore, according to this configuration, the natural convection caused by the heating of the heater 3 is also diffused by the baffle plate 7, so even if the heater 3 is turned on at an early timing when dispensing hot water, the stored hot water will not be overheated. There will be no areas where this occurs. Therefore, it is possible to shorten the required cycle time when performing nine-turn tapping.

(2) When forced convection (due to hot water supply) and natural convection (due to heater heating) coexist, the area where the flow velocity increases due to natural convection is equalized by the bar-7 full plate installed above the heater. This has the effect of preventing overheating from occurring within the hot water storage tank.
