Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 多気筒のうち少なくとも２気筒に設けたバルブ停止機構
    により吸・排気バルブを閉弁状態で作動停止させ稼動気
    筒数を変更することができる可変気筒エンジンにおいて
    、休止すべき気筒のそれぞれの吸排気通路の少なくとも
    一方の通路に該通路開閉用のバタフライ弁を取付けた回
    転駆動される中空軸を配設し、該中空軸はバタフライ弁
    により前記通路が閉鎖されるとき燃焼室側の該通路と前
    記中空軸内とを連通ずる開口部を有し、休止すべき気筒
    のそれぞれに設けられた中空軸同士を連通管により連通
    させ、しかも前記中空軸がバタフライ弁をして前記通路
    を閉鎖させる方向に回転するのに連動して前記通路側の
    バルブを押下げて′前記通路と燃焼室とを連通させる開
    弁手段を設けたことを特徴とする可変気筒エンジン。
