Therefore, if the bending direction of the installation path is uneven, the ends of the fiber strands at the terminal or connection end of the optical fiber cable will become uneven.

Furthermore, when connecting optical fiber cables, the fiber strands are exposed and the end faces are polished, but if this operation fails, the fiber strands become even more irregular. On the other hand, connected fiber wires are weak against external forces unless they have a certain amount of slack, but if the fiber wires become uneven as described above, some fiber wires will become sagging, and other fiber wires will become sagging. Problems such as cutting are likely to occur due to lack of water. In view of the above points, it is an object of the present invention to provide a method for reliably and easily connecting optical fiber cables regardless of the installation environment.

接続方法にある。Therefore, the gist of the present invention is to connect one optical fiber cable to be connected from one end into an accumulator which is hollow cylindrical as a whole and has a spiral groove carved in the length direction on its inner circumferential surface. Insert the optical fiber core wire to be extended, then feed the inserted optical fiber core wire sequentially along the spiral groove of the accumulator and take it out from the other end, and then insert the optical fiber core of the other optical fiber cable to be connected. The invention relates to a method for connecting an optical fiber cable, which is characterized in that it is connected to a fiber optic cable.

できる。The fiber strands 2 of the optical fiber cable are introduced into the accumulator 3 through one entrance, wound spirally along the guide groove 5 and accumulated, and then pulled out through the other opening. Then, this drawn-out fiber strand 2 is connected to the fiber strand 2' of the other optical fiber cable 1' via a connector 4. Therefore, when the length of the fiber wire 2 is insufficient, by drawing out the required amount of the amount accumulated in the accumulator 3, the shortfall in length can be compensated for and the connection can be made in an optimal state. As described above, according to the present invention, optical fiber cables can be reliably and easily connected in an optimal state regardless of the installation environment.
