To drain rainwater collected on the roof out of the tank,
There is a drain pipe inside the tank that connects the roof to the drain outside the tank.

Abnormalities in drain pipes are often not noticed, and a delay in detecting the abnormality can lead to a fire accident, or even if the abnormality is discovered relatively early, the drain pipes are only equipped with manual on-off valves. This method has disadvantages such as it takes too much time to close the drain pipe.

It is also possible to use a structure that has a built-in source and is driven by the gas generated when the gas source is activated by a signal from a control circuit.

There was a crack in the drain pipe that connects the floating roof and the drain, and the liquid in the tank leaked into the drain pipe through the crack, or the seal of the universal joint used for the drain pipe deteriorated, causing a seal leak. You can easily know if there is an abnormality in the drain pipe system due to some reason, and furthermore, when the leak detector is activated, the emergency shutoff valve installed at the appropriate place in the drain pipe closes and the drain pipe is shut off. It has the advantage of being able to prevent further leakage of the liquid in the tank, thereby reliably preventing the occurrence of fire accidents, etc.
