Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate attachment and detachment work by simply attaching and detaching the title paper feed apparatus only by raising the same, by providing a revolving lever displaced to a lock position and a release position corresponding to a placed and non-placed states with a recording apparatus side. CONSTITUTION:U-shaped notch parts 21a inlaid with a platen shaft 13 are formed to the leading ends of arms 21, 21 extending from both sides of a paper feed apparatus toward the platen shaft 13 and the halfway part of a revoling lever 26 is pivotally supported on the way of each arm through a shaft 22 in a freely revolvable manner. The lever 26 receives a revolving habit toward such a direction that the pawl 27 thereof is separated from the shaft 23 by the torsion force of a torsion coil spring 30. When the paper feed apparatus is raised and fallen so as to allow the notch parts 21a and the shaft 13 to correspond with each other, both of them are inlaid and a bent member 31 brought into contact and engagement with a projection 11a while the pawl 27 engages the under side the shaft 13 (a lock state). When the paper feed apparatus is raised and the bent member 31 is slightly separated from the projection 11a, the lever 26 is revolved by the force of the spring 30 and the pawl 27 is separated and detached from the under side of the shaft 13.

Also, at the second end of the rotary lever 26 and through the long hole 28,
A bent side 31 is formed on the lower side. This bending portion 31 is installed at a position outside the area where the automatic paper feeder 12 is held by hand (for example, at a position close to the platen shaft 13).

First, when the automatic paper feeding device 12 is removed, the rotary lever 26 is moved to the third position by the force of the torsion coil spring 3o.
It is rotated clockwise in the figure, and the pawl 27 is in the notch 21a.

Subsequently, the bending member 31 at the upper end of the rotary lever 26 comes into contact with and engages with the protrusion of the recording device +1, indicated by the reference numeral 11a in FIG. As a result, the rotating lever 26 is rotated by the torsion coil spring 30.
The claw 27 is rotated Q so as to lock the lower side of the platen shaft 13 fitted in the notch 2Ia.

On the other hand, when removing the automatic paper feeder 12, it is sufficient to hold the device in the opposite direction as described above, but at this time, the claw 2H is still attached.
Since the platen shaft 13 is restrained, the automatic paper feeder 12 is rotated counterclockwise in FIG. 2 about the platen shaft 13.

However, if the automatic sheet feeder 12 is rotated slightly and the bent portion 31 of the rotary lever 26 is slightly separated from the protruding portion 11a of the recording device and is not engaged, it will become stuck under the force of the torsion coil spring 30. The movable lever 26 is rotated clockwise in FIG.

Effects As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention, a structure is adopted in which the automatic paper feeder side is provided with a rotary lever that can be moved to the locked position and unlocked depending on whether it is placed on the recording device side or not placed on the recording device side. Therefore, the automatic paper feeder can be attached and detached without any need for external operation buttons, and the attachment and detachment work is extremely easy.
