If the amounts of the two components are not properly adjusted and are left in an adverse condition, it can be detrimental to obtaining good prints.

Devices of this type are mostly based on the idea of transferring ink and water to a matrix TFCUii ink roller. However, practical printing tests have shown that even if a uniform and consistent film of ink or water is initially applied or transferred, various defects may occur later.7

Since satisfactory inking depends on the positioning of the inking rollers and the concomitant application of the ink, it is an object of the present invention to provide a method and a device for influencing the amount of ink so that pre-emulsification can be carried out in a vibrating mechanism.

In the following, the part indicated by the reference numeral B in FIG. 1 will not be included. As shown in FIG. 1, a further vibrating roller 12 is provided which is in contact with the transfer roller 7 and in contact with the inking rollers 5 and 6. The transfer roller 7 can be moved towards and away from the two feed rollers 8 and the metering or regulating roller 9, the stages of this movement being illustrated in FIGS. 4 to 6. These figures also show the stages of contact and separation of the transfer roller 7 with respect to the rollers 8 and 9, as well as the stages of contact and separation of the rollers 5 and 6 with respect to the rollers, that is, the plate cylinder A. 9 is immersed in a reservoir or container indicated by the general numeral 14, which is divided into two parts, respectively indicated by the numerals 14A and 14B. This is to keep the amount of dampening bath liquid and alcohol at constant values. The portion designated by numeral 14A contains the minimum amount of dampening solution to prevent the alcohol contained therein from evaporating, and the portion designated by numeral 14B is used to collect the excess number of baths and use a mixer (not shown). This is so that it can be sent to other locations and reused.

。It is of course possible to use suitable technical measures regarding the use of materials, for example, the surface of the roller 9 is made of a relatively hard material such as steel and coated in an elastic manner, and the roller 9 is coated in an elastic manner. The entire surface of the roller 8 can be made of a textured, non-elastic material (chromium is preferred from the viewpoint of hydrophilicity). It is clear from the above description that the method according to the invention as well as the operation of the apparatus according to the invention However, in the method and apparatus according to the invention, the dampening solution is not supplied to the inking mechanism during the pre-inking operation, and only the two inking rollers 5 and 6 are injected with the ink-water-alcohol compound. The dampening solution is thus emulsified with the ink and very suitable conditions are obtained in which the printing process can be started without waste or waste paper. Figure 5 shows the printing stage ( The following is an illustration of the apparatus used in step 2). The ink rollers are all in contact with the first plate cylinder A, and the ink-water-alcohol compound stabilized by the previous horizontal digging is applied to the cylinder. For this reason, both the ink and the dampening solution are transferred to the printing and non-printing areas of the plate cylinder at the same time, so there is no need to perform the dampening process first and then the inking process. nothing.

。2 will be explained in conjunction with FIGS. 5 and 6. Since the ink roller in the present invention supplies or applies ink in an amount of approximately 12%, the ink supply by the fifth ink roller 4 is reduced to 42%. It has been reduced by 30%. Therefore, the supply of ink solution becomes more uniform, and there is no significant change in the amount of ink applied to the plate at 1%.
