    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 断面が凹字形または凹字形をなす金属酸化物バリスタ基
    体と、該バリスタ基板の水平部分の上面及び下面に対向
    して設けられる対向電極と、前記バリスタ基体の一端の
    垂直部分の外側垂直面から水平面を通って内側垂直面ま
    でを覆い前記対向室・　極の一方に接続する一方の外部
    電極と前記バリスタ基体の他端の垂直部分の外側垂直面
    から水平面・　　　　を通って内側垂直面までを覆い前
    記対向電極の他方に接続する他方の外部電極と、前記対
    向電極と該対向電極に覆われていない前記バリスタ基体
    表面を覆う樹脂とを含むことを特徴とするチ゛スプ形金
    属酸化物バリスタ。
