の被加工物を縫合するための縫合方法およびその装面に
関する。 典型的な先行技術は上下糸もしくけ上糸の糸からみによ
る連続縫合を達成する工業用ミシンである。このLう斤
先行技術では上下連動をする針によって一部ずつ長い距
離を縫合している。したがって確実な縫合を達成するた
めには作業者の高度の熟練と注意力が要求される。しか
も細い針によって縫合を行なうために被加工物が複数枚
積み重ねられたり、厚手の皮革や固い合成樹脂膜などで
あるときけ針に負担がかかつて針が折れたり、屈曲した
りL7て縫合作業に手間どり、′!た被加工物のi;L
い目部苓:損傷することも多かった。 本発明の[1的1t−1=、述の技術的課題を解決し、
1枚、ト、るい+−t ;M数枚の布、皮革1合成樹脂
膜、不織布1紙などの被加工物を容易かつ確実に縫合す
ることができろ改良された縫合方法を提供することであ
る。 さらVこ本発明の他の目的は、縫い針の負担を少なくシ
、シかも誰にでも容易に縫合作業をなし得る改良された
縫合装置を提供することである。 第1図は本発明の縫合装置11の側面図であり。 第2図はその正面図である。縫合装置11は基本的にけ
アーム8とベンド12から構成されている。 縫合装「tllには動力源として動力装置5が内蔵され
、アーム8の先端にけ外筒4が一体的に装着される。外
筒4にけ内筒17が内包さハ、内筒171’+7け案内
筒30が内包されている。案内筒30内部を針押し棒3
が動力装置5 VCよって動力伝達装置6を介して案内
筒30の軸線方向に滑り)Jlする機構となっている。 針押し棒3けベッド12に向けて近接方向・離反方向に
往復運ith kすることができ、このような運動は動
力装置5と動力伝達装置6との協働によって達成するこ
とができる。 133図はアーム8の先端付近の断面を示す拡大側面図
であり、第4図は第3図の切断面線IV−1t/から見
た一部断面図である。アーム8の先端に装着された外筒
4には大略的に筒状の内筒17が外筒4の軸線方向に摺
醪している。内筒17のベッド12方向の一端には外向
きフランジ16が形成さ力ており、内fjh 17がベ
ッド12方向に下降しタトき、外向きフランジ16[よ
ってベッド12−Lの被加工物2を押えることができる
。内筒17には大略的に筒状の案内筒30が内包されて
いる。 案内k :(Oのベッド12方向の一端30aは逆U字
状VC形成されており、金属製の脚部32.33の先端

の装置9では、多数の樹脂針1を1列に配して収納する
筒体23内において、ばね10が押片18を介して樹脂

縫合装置を提供することである。 第1図は本発明の縫合装置11の側面図であり。 第2図はその正面図である。縫合装置11は基本的にけ
アーム8とベンド12から構成されている。 縫合装「tllには動力源として動力装置5が内蔵され
、アーム8の先端にけ外筒4が一体的に装着される。外
筒4にけ内筒17が内包さハ、内筒171’+7け案内
筒30が内包されている。案内筒30内部を針押し棒3
が動力装置5 VCよって動力伝達装置6を介して案内
筒30の軸線方向に滑り)Jlする機構となっている。 針押し棒3けベッド12に向けて近接方向・離反方向に
往復運ith kすることができ、このような運動は動
力装置5と動力伝達装置6との協働によって達成するこ
とができる。 133図はアーム8の先端付近の断面を示す拡大側面図
であり、第4図は第3図の切断面線IV−1t/から見
た一部断面図である。アーム8の先端に装着された外筒
4には大略的に筒状の内筒17が外筒4の軸線方向に摺
醪している。内筒17のベッド12方向の一端には外向
きフランジ16が形成さ力ており、内fjh 17がベ
ッド12方向に下降しタトき、外向きフランジ16[よ
ってベッド12−Lの被加工物2を押えることができる
。内筒17には大略的に筒状の案内筒30が内包されて
いる。 案内k :(Oのベッド12方向の一端30aは逆U字
状VC形成されており、金属製の脚部32.33の先端
34.35は尖鋭な釘状に形成されている。 案内筒3 (+ ’f−ベッド12に向って下降すると
その先GJ34.35がベッド12上の被加工物2に打
ち込まれて、被加工物2を貫通する0 このような案内筒30には切欠部Pが設けられており、
この切欠部Pに樹脂針供給装置9が装着さねている。こ
の装置9では、多数の樹脂針1を1列に配して収納する
筒体23内において、ばね10が押片18を介して樹脂
針1を内筒17に一向rjて常1侍弾発付@L−ている

補給されるようになっている。 案内部30に内包さjた釧押し棒3の中心線上のベッド
12表面には、プレス型15が装着さtている。プレス
型15[1−を案内筒30の針通路31下端に臨む型凹
所15aが設けら)1ている。型凹所I5aけその縦断
面が大略的にW字状に形成されている。なおプレス型1
5け第1図示の加熱装V11’3.14によって適時加
熱さtする。 再び@1図を参照して内が)17の外壁にtまその軸線
方向に延びるラック25が形成さtiている。 このラック25の噛合うビニオン26if外鋪4に枢支
されており、ビニオン26けI〜ンドル7の操作によっ
て回動さnる。このビニオン26の回動によってランク
25が昇降し、したがって内fR117が引降してベッ
ド12に近接・離反することができる。また内筒17に
内包される案内筒30には、その軸線方向に延びるラン
ク27が形成さハている。このラック27に噛合うビニ
オン28゛け内筒17に枢支されており、ビニオン28
14ノンドル29の操作によって回動される。これによ
って案内筒3011を内筒17内部を昇降して、ベッド
12Vc近接・ktt反することができる。 第5図は本発明を実施するための作1h過程を示したも
のである。第1動作ステップとして、ベッド12の上に
被加工物2を載せる。しかる後、レバー7によって外部
4内の内筒17を摺動して被h11丁骸12 k ’A
向きフランジ16によって押える。 次いでレバー29によって内筒17内の案内n 30舌
・下方(/r括1動し−C1第5図filに示さ名るよ
うに案内筒30の売可gel、32を被加工物2に打ち
込む。 q’;s 2 BIb 作ステップとして、レバー29
によって案内が]30 ’i:上万l/c摺動して、案
内f?t130の先端31.32を被加工物2の下方か
ら、上方に戻す。 17たがってυシ加−り物2にFl第5図+21 K示
されるような小孔2;、+、2bが形成される。 第3動作スデツブとして、針押し棒3によって樹脂針l
の先☆1ia19.20を下降させて、被加工物2の小
孔2a、2bに挿通する。このときの動作状態が第5図
+31に示される。樹脂針lの先端19.20に釧押し
杯3rCよってさらに下降さねて。 ベッド12表面のプレス型15に押し付けらjる。 このため第5図(4)に示さnるよう[Gl脂釧1の先
端19.20はプレス型15の型凹所15a中を滑って
曲けられる。 第41JI+作ステップとして、第5図(6)に示され
るように樹脂針lの先端19,201、[ハシ凹所15
a内で和事なt)、釧押し棒3に」:つてさらVCFf
力が加えら負る。しかる後、4+lIj脂針lの先端1
9,20け、プレス型15の型凹所15a中央イ」近V
C内蔵さ−わた加熱装置】、3.14によって適時加熱
さハて溶融し1M終的には樹脂釦lは第5図(6)に示
さnるようなリング状の縫い目21となる。 前記動作過程が一点順次または多点同時に行なわわると
前記リング状の縫い目21が1つあるいけ多数形成され
て被加工物2f:縫い合わせることができる。ここにい
う多点間119とi、t、(11多数の縫い1會同時C
て形成し、こitらのfiい目が相互に隣接して単一線
状VC連続し7ており、こrt Kよって縫合される場
合や、(21樹脂針I VC刺綽などの用途に用゛いる
ことのできる模様が形成さバーCいて、このような模様
″f:4G(Hの所定箇所に同時に設ける楊合否−含む
。このLう斤多点同時の縫合作条け、単数あろいit
?t、j数のh合装置NLIIを曲線上、直線上に並べ
、あるいPI’ 、4jの集合として配列し、各点で同
時またit jljを次VC被廂工物2を縫合すること
によって行なうことができる。 樹脂針あるいI:1こtlに準じた拐質の針1け本発明
の実biii例1/l″おいて1.結果として釦の先端
を、変形加工し、一般1c使用さtlている糸の機能を
果すものであ−6n釧の月利としては着色可能な合成樹
脂を用いることができる。またその樹脂針lの形状とし
てFf 、前dc1実施例における逆U字型に限足さ〕
1ず、この曲面ノ1、クギ型、ビン製、リベット型、棒
型々どが第6図(1)〜(6)に示されている。かかる
Jd9台の達成t、しベッド12のプレス型12.アー
ム8の先端の案内筒30および針押し棒3の構ly管変
化させることVCよって可能となる。 第5図+31121で1予め4′!−棒状の先端の尖鋭
な伺11tj9135 、36が、被加工物2を貫通し
た後。 1゛覆1ルl、に針3!’l、36の端部が加熱変形さ
れ、リベット状にしでt1゛1合が達成された例が示さ
れている。第6図(3)〜(5)では逆U字状の剣37
.3R。 39が被加工物を貫通した後、その貫>jlj 1.た
各端部を加熱変形して縫合を行なった例であり、ぞねら
の変形加工された端部は相互に分離している。 @6図(6)でけ針40け刺繍をするために用いC)H
る。 このように樹脂釦lの形状が棒型、ビン型、クギ型など
であってもアーム8の先☆;Mの案内局:(0や針押し
棒3などの構造百−変化させることVCよって第6図(

:針の先端が狛則する箇所ノ:同一の箇所に、あらかじ
め小孔を設けることL・ζよって、厚手の皮酸や−・1
めの布などであっても4iiJ脂針を何ら抵抗なく被加
工物に打ち込むことができ、樹脂針が折iまたり。 屈曲する心配がない。したがって本件縫合方法および縫
合装置を用いることによって作業効率を篩めて2円滑な
縫合を速成することができる。

されており、ビニオン26けI〜ンドル7の操作によっ
て回動さnる。このビニオン26の回動によってランク
25が昇降し、したがって内fR117が引降してベッ
ド12に近接・離反することができる。また内筒17に
内包される案内筒30には、その軸線方向に延びるラン
ク27が形成さハている。このラック27に噛合うビニ
オン28゛け内筒17に枢支されており、ビニオン28
14ノンドル29の操作によって回動される。これによ
って案内筒3011を内筒17内部を昇降して、ベッド
12Vc近接・ktt反することができる。 第5図は本発明を実施するための作1h過程を示したも
のである。第1動作ステップとして、ベッド12の上に
被加工物2を載せる。しかる後、レバー7によって外部
4内の内筒17を摺動して被h11丁骸12 k ’A
向きフランジ16によって押える。 次いでレバー29によって内筒17内の案内n 30舌
・下方(/r括1動し−C1第5図filに示さ名るよ
うに案内筒30の売可gel、32を被加工物2に打ち
込む。 q’;s 2 BIb 作ステップとして、レバー29
によって案内が]30 ’i:上万l/c摺動して、案
内f?t130の先端31.32を被加工物2の下方か
ら、上方に戻す。 17たがってυシ加−り物2にFl第5図+21 K示
されるような小孔2;、+、2bが形成される。 第3動作スデツブとして、針押し棒3によって樹脂針l
の先☆1ia19.20を下降させて、被加工物2の小
孔2a、2bに挿通する。このときの動作状態が第5図
+31に示される。樹脂針lの先端19.20に釧押し
杯3rCよってさらに下降さねて。 ベッド12表面のプレス型15に押し付けらjる。 このため第5図(4)に示さnるよう[Gl脂釧1の先
端19.20はプレス型15の型凹所15a中を滑って
曲けられる。 第41JI+作ステップとして、第5図(6)に示され
るように樹脂針lの先端19,201、[ハシ凹所15
a内で和事なt)、釧押し棒3に」:つてさらVCFf
力が加えら負る。しかる後、4+lIj脂針lの先端1
9,20け、プレス型15の型凹所15a中央イ」近V
C内蔵さ−わた加熱装置】、3.14によって適時加熱
さハて溶融し1M終的には樹脂釦lは第5図(6)に示
さnるようなリング状の縫い目21となる。 前記動作過程が一点順次または多点同時に行なわわると
前記リング状の縫い目21が1つあるいけ多数形成され
て被加工物2f:縫い合わせることができる。ここにい
う多点間119とi、t、(11多数の縫い1會同時C
て形成し、こitらのfiい目が相互に隣接して単一線
状VC連続し7ており、こrt Kよって縫合される場
合や、(21樹脂針I VC刺綽などの用途に用゛いる
ことのできる模様が形成さバーCいて、このような模様
″f:4G(Hの所定箇所に同時に設ける楊合否−含む
。このLう斤多点同時の縫合作条け、単数あろいit
?t、j数のh合装置NLIIを曲線上、直線上に並べ
、あるいPI’ 、4jの集合として配列し、各点で同
時またit jljを次VC被廂工物2を縫合すること
によって行なうことができる。 樹脂針あるいI:1こtlに準じた拐質の針1け本発明
の実biii例1/l″おいて1.結果として釦の先端
を、変形加工し、一般1c使用さtlている糸の機能を

各端部を加熱変形して縫合を行なった例であり、ぞねら

合装置を用いることによって作業効率を篩めて2円滑な
縫合を速成することができる。

Claims (2)
- (1)ベットの上にのせた被加工物の上方にあるアーム
の中に連続して供給されるように充填して準備された縫
い糸の′+ル能を果す合成樹脂製あるいけ繊維製の釘状
61.1枚あるいけ複数枚の布、皮革、合成樹脂膜、綱
、不織布1紙などの被加工物の上方から順次打ち込んで
、被加工物の下方にその先端を打ち抜き、上配釘状針の
先端部を被加工物の下方から上方に戻らぬように被加工
物の裏側で瞬時に変形、力11工して、これを一点順次
または多点同時に行なうことVCよって相゛互に隣接し
て並んだ縫い目あるいに縫い自模様を形成して被加工物
を1.1合するtiiiい糸の機能を果す樹脂針を用い
る縫合方法ンCおいて。 被加工物に前記釘状釧の先端が貫通する箇所と同−f%
を所に、予め小孔を設けることを特徴とする縫い糸の機
能を呆す樹脂針を用いる縫合方法。 - (2)アームの先端に一体的に装着される大略的に筒状
の外筒と。 外筒の内部で外筒の軸線方向に摺俵し、ベッド方向の一
端に外向きフランジが形成されている大略的に筒状の内
部と、 内筒の内部で内筒のi41+線方向に摺1民[7,ベッ
ド方向の一端が釘状に形成されている大略的[筒状の案
内筒と、 案内前に向って一列に配列された合成樹脂製あるいけ繊
維製の釘状釘を弾発付替する樹脂針供給装置と。 前記案内筒に内包ざ)1.案内筒の軸線方向に滑動する
針押【、棒と。 針押し棒の中心m l二のベッドの表面りで装着ざJす
るプレス型とを含1rこと全特徴とする縫い糸の機能を
果す樹脂シ1を用いる縫合装晶′。
