Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize energy saving and rationalization of a copying work by constituting a titled system so that the copying work is stopped when the total number of copying sheets inputted to a storage part by copying information exceeds the remaining number of copiable sheets. CONSTITUTION:A storage part for storing copying information, and a toner remaining quantity detecting part 10 are provided on a copying control part, and a toner quantity and also the number of copiable sheets are detected by the detecting part 10 consisting of three detecting parts. Copying information of the first item, the second item, etc. of a copying work is stored in a storage part 9, the copying work is repeated until the total number of copying sheets is consumed, and when the total number of copying sheets exceeds the remaining number of copiable sheets decided by the detecting part 10, the work is stopped. Accordingly, when the copying is under operation, an operator can execute other work, and rationalization and energy saving of the work can be realized.

(Prior Art) Programmable copying devices such as those described above have been conventionally known, but in the prior art, when information such as the number of copies is inputted into the storage section, the number of remaining copies that can be made is checked using residual developed toner. Therefore, after copying has started, it is unlikely that the machine will stop due to lack of developing toner and the image quality will deteriorate.
