    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 超音波を物体に向けて送出可能に配置された送波器と、
    物体からの超音波の反射波を受信可能に配置された受波
    器とを有し、超音波の反射波の伝播遅延時間差から距離
    を検出する装置において、前記送波器を、当該送波器の
    駆動時の中心周波数が、非駆動時の中心周波数または送
    波出力レベルが小さい時の当該送波器の中心櫂波数より
    も受波器の帯域幅以上離れた値とし、かつ受波器の中心
    周波数と一致するように構成したことを特徴とする距離
    検出装置。
