Claims (1)
）とプラスチック製光ファイバ（以下光ファイバという
）の結合または光フアイバ同志の接続をＯＩＥ素子とフ
ェルールまたはフェルール同志ヲレセブタクルで突き合
せて行うコネクタであって、外径をＯ／Ｅ素子の最大外
径と略等しく形成した頭部と、この頭部にこれよりも外
径を小さくして同軸に一体形成したカシメ部を有子る段
付円柱体の中心軸に光ファイバの端末部を保持する一端
開口を外開きのテーパ部とした段状孔を貫設し、かつ前
記頭部の外周部に環状溝を刻設した金属製のフェルール
と、前記頭部が嵌入し得る内径で貫設した挿入孔の一端
部開口縁の内壁に環状突壁を突設し、かつ他端部間口近
傍の内壁に前記環状溝と係合して前記挿入孔内の所定位
置に前記頭部を固定する環状突起を突設した合成樹脂製
のレセプタクルとから成り、該レセプタクルの挿入孔内
に前記フェルールの頭部を嵌入し環状突起に環状溝を係
合させて固定したとき、前記環状突壁と前記頭部先端と
により予め前記挿入孔内に嵌入された前記０７Ｅ素子ま
たは他の前記フェルールの頭部を挾んで固定するように
したことを特徴とするプラスチック製光フアイバ用コネ
