  1. 裏面にパターンを印刷した導光板と、この導光板の裏面
    側に密着させた遮光板と、前記導光板の端面に光を照射
    し前記パターンを照明するランプとを具備する表示装置
    に、おいて、前記導光板と前記遮光板との間隙に前記ラ
    ンプの光が入射しないようにするための遮光手段を設け
    たことを特徴とする表示装置。
