    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. キャリッジの駆動手段としてオープシループのサーボ機
    構を使用したプリンタにおいて、前記キャリッジがその
    移動範囲の端部に達したことを検出する基準位置検出機
    構を具備し、印字開始後に前記基準位置検出機構から検
    出出力が発生された場合にはこれを利用して異常状態に
    対する動作を行なうようにしてなるプリンタの異常検出
    装置。
